The caustic, venomous spittle causes Kri-cht and Kem's muscles to seize up as it sprays the two heroes. (Don't forget the four damage, please. Stunned for at least 2 rounds.)

Mak pulls himself out of the spider's nest and only gets one bite on the back of his leg for his withdrawal, but it's a savage chomp. (8 damage) He now stands topside.

Hurk gets his leg struck with a bite as well (#2 on the map)... it's a doozy (nat 20, 14 damage)... might have hit an artery. He only hears heavy, labored breathing from his psionic buddy. He has not fallen through the floor, so it's probably working.

Yiska puts herself between the two spiders that would have advanced to Kem and the others and begins to swing her sword in earnest. She lands a slight blow to her opponent. (#3)

Three of the four spiders below are visible and possibly within reach to strike behind Mak.

Abez lands two arrows into the one engaging Hurk... but it still stands. The shots did hit in the face and kicked up bile and black spider ichor, so you're certain it hurt the beast.

Currently, Only 3 spiders are topside. One lies dead (#1). #4 on Yiska is uninjured. #2 & 3 are damaged, but to what extent? And #'5, 6, 7, & 8 lie below. One of those is still stunned from the psionic attack.

The Psiologist groans from the sharp leg pain as he becomes a whirlwind of movement and slashes, moving to engage the topside spiders…

Mak's eyes glow red as he turns to regard the spiders still in the hole while muttering a prayer. His open hand catches fire which he flings directly at the spider nearest him. The moment the fire explodes in the pit his hand once again lights on fire.

((Mak casts Produce Flame [Lv.2, PHB] and flings the fire at spider #7. If he misses, treat as a grenade weapon. Everything within 3' of the point of impact may catch fire as well as the target.))

Pallia moves up within reach of Yiska and casts a quick protective spell.

(Resist Acid & Corrosion, Spells & Magic p. 165. Grants Yiska +3 on saves vs. acid, half damage on a failed save and one-quarter damage on a successful save. Lasts 6 rounds.)

Hurk becomes a blur. His only issue is he cannot be everywhere at once... He lashes out at the spider closest to him and it takes two blows to defeat it.

He can begin to move towards the others on the opposite side of the pit - and due to his heightened speed? Be there to attack the following round.

Mak's fire does not seem to bother the spiders at all. Just the webs (and not quite as much as a normal spiderweb or a web spell). They hiss in unison and three of the four re-adjust and begin moving to the north edge, pulling themselves up as Hurk passes.

Yiska hits one of her two foes twice. It stands, but begins to crouch towards the edge, perhaps to retreat? Neither hit the elven warrioress. Abez fires down into the pit towards the spiders below and has much the same success that Kleys had - hitting one such beast.

6 foes remain. By the end of the round the stunned one below begins to move, perhaps to follow his friends to the edge.
