<Not anymore; I've been retrieved by Aman, the undead lord of this tower. I can see you through his scrying device. He has proposed a wager with me regarding how many of you will survive to reach him: If I'm correct, he will bring she-HurK back to life and tell us what we want to know, if wrong I would have to serve it/him for 1 year. I am currently further- clarifing the terms of the wager. I believe it could greatly benefit us.
What is your status? >

(Kleys uses his Observation NWP - 7/19, success - to meticulously describe his surroundings until Laakh can visualize the room and practically taste the musty odor of undeath in the back of his throat).

If all are in agreement, Mak casts Detect Magic to examine his surroundings and the door to the North.

Laakh unlinks from the mage, tells the others the situation, and to "wave real friendly to Aman and his guest" (Cheesy thumbs-up at the air)
He silently follows the trap finding business, claiming his light stone back and offering illumination where needed.

"Then you wait. Assuming your friends make it here? The terms I set your Rhul-thaun friend are still valid. I just would not bring your friend back, naturally. Becoming my servant? Well, there are *things* I need a supply of - paper, parchment, ink, bodies, components, etc... I would require physical assistance with my experiments as well. You'd tend the defenses of the tower and search out other things to further it's security.
You would continue to live.
Upon exodus of terms? Assuming you did not insult or dishonor me? I would be content with furthering your education in the Art."
