The giant gladiator quickly moves out of the room away from the door then loudly exhales "Strange keep, this. Where next?"

- Kem looks at the huge gladiator and in low tone - We try to be the less noticeable as possible, try to keep your volume. This is not the Arena and there are not crowds to cheer us - shrugging - I don't know either where to go next

Revisiting the room later, you find the strange butter-colored mold has retreated to the edges of the room. It does not seem to be moving...
Two light blue gems are revealed upon the ground, now uncovered by the foul stuff. They match the eyes of the mean creatures that adorn the walls of the first room below the roof - there was one that did not have a pair.

Attilius grabs some detritus pieces from outside the room and begins chucking them hard at the mold mound... [Weapon Improvisation NWP 10, rolled a 1]

Seeing the Half-Giant toss things into the room, Mak mumbles a spell of protection over himself. Once properly warded, Mak walks into the room. He will grab his stone of Continual light and bring it to bear near any remaining mold in the room. He'll use the butt of his spear to move objects so that he may properly shine the light of his stone on all surfaces. Once the room and all of the contents within are properly scoured of mold, Mak will begin to handle the objects.
"Judging by the objects we're finding, it appears that our test is to assemble the monstrous statue in the other room. To be safe, I'll cast a divination specifically about accomplishing this task to make sure we're not going to inadvertently release a terrifying monster by doing so."
((Mak casts Slow Poison, Lv.2 spell. Duration: 8 hours))

You would normally expect some sort of shenanigans from provoking such stuff. But it seems lethargic, perhaps not in the need to feed if that's what this stuff does upon mortal flesh. Well, Mak would know that most mushroom and molds ate flesh once perished, so maybe the concern is more upon the speed in which said things tried to do so.
The weapons upon the walls are useless, corroded, pitted beyond use. Swords, shreds of chain armor, devoured shields... all barely holding form as you investigate further.
The light blue gems are easily recovered sans any visible corruption.

Mak will recover the gems. "Where else is left to explore? Or are we ready for a rest? I know my magics are getting low."
((Bob, has Mak been infected by any of the yellow mold poison? Or is he pretty confident that he's clean?))

"Yes move to a secure area and recharge. That slime can be kept at bay with light. I'm good with first watch."

When a room is selected for rest, Mak will offer the benefits of his 'nap' spell to any of the other casters or psionicists within the party. Before napping, Mak will protect the room by casting "Wyvern Watch" over the entrance to the room.
Once the rest is complete, Mak will check on the Pterrax on the roof of the tower, then return to the party to finish scouting this ruin.

Rest is had. You awake near sunrise.
The pterrax is currently hunting and in search of water. It knows a few places now where it can find both.

Laakh drops a PSP into the talisman battery, and waits for results of the Divination.
"I can place the blue gems into the missing eye sockets, same with the tusk, and Phase or Teleport as contingencies. Other ideas?"

Just gimme the specific question asked and if you're casting before or after rest.
