Mak casts his nap, putting Laahk to sleep for the next hour.
He then begins to fold the dimensions of time and space, bringing an undead head to Bodach with Hurk and Yiska.
That succeeds, as the druid, psion (once dead, better now) and elfess step onto the dry plateau of the dead city of Bodach. It is nearing noon and your boat remains where you left it. Hurk carries the corpse of Odrela, as it was too bulky for Mak to manage. Yiska looks with narrowed eyes right and left, bone blade carried openly.
***
The rest of you have only to regard the strange feathered tomahawk sticking out of a baobab near where Laahk had detected life before - you're pretty sure it was not there earlier, unless your attention was drawn to the spot only because of the perceived threat.
Not that the vegetation is not as sparse as the pic that Markus shared, think low jungle, Athasian mudflat environ.

- I can go and check, as I'm not good in ranged combat - tells without missing eye contact with the tomahawk

"Shall we?" B'roHurK says as he begins walking towards the ship to inspect it's condition. If all seems right outside and within, He'll look through the wall breakage he once climbed though before and look for any movement within the city.

- Although... It seems like a Draji weapon, like the ones we found in the silt skimmer.. A Txalaxa here?... - She gets more in guard, looking in the direction from where the tomahawk was thrown, in theory

Mak waits while Hurk checks the ship. Once it's clear he begins to walk up to the top of the wall to view the city. "I hope the undead counsel are aware of us. I don't have a blowing horn to announce our arrival."

Troll Grave Chasm:
It is hard to tell if the tomahawk was thrown, or merely chopped into the tree. Perhaps if you looked a bit closer. The feathers flutter in the wind as the elf begins his spell to read magic.
The baton has magic writing upon it. Seems to be an incantation of the third circle, a spell to conjure a bolt of lightning.

Bodach:
The moment you begin to question the location of the Lawkeepers of Bodach?
They appear out of nowhere.
They are dressed in tattered crimson.
A trio.
Your friends are not with them.

(Kleys attention completely wanes from the Tomahawk situation, as, eyes wide, he takes in the enormity of his situation.)
(Eyes darting around quickly and nervously licking his lips, he puts this Baton down, grabs the other Baton(s) that the Defilers had, looks over them as well with Read Magic still active.)
Troll Grave.

Bodach: The moment you begin to question the location of the Lawkeepers of Bodach? They appear out of nowhere. They are dressed in tattered crimson. A trio. Your friends are not with them. "We are sorry, she did not survive the battle against Wyan. Though we were victorious in the end and have his conscience head for you as promised." HurK steps forward with the body gently cradled in his arms.

Mak holds up the burlap sack with Wyan's head. "She engaged a monstrous creation controlled by Wyan, a reanimated headless corpse of Kalak. Odrela took the brunt of it's psionicly enhanced attack and fell. Our very best efforts to fell the beast brought us to a stalemate at best for it's power was immense. As Hurk was able to keep it physically challenged and another member of our party psionicly assaulted it, I was able to sneak close and disable it's connection to psionic ability. I hope Odrela can rest knowing that she fell bravely in battle that saw justice brought to the traitor Wyan."
Mak offers the burlap sack to the undead elders. "Though our task from you is complete, we have yet to confirm that the Necromancer has fallen. We will need to skills of our full company to accomplish this. Please bring our comrades to us so that we may continue our pursuit of our quarry."

- Looking towards the tomahawk - I am tempted to grab it, but I will get closer to it as soon as the others return. - The elven maiden bites her lip but speaks with conviction - We are not in full to risk such. If it was there before, it'll remain for a few moments more - as her mind drifts in thoughts and her muscles tense

Nothing seems to happen as the rest of you wait, staring at the tomahawk, but fearing to advance further. (I just want to wait until the others finish their Bodach conversation in case they wish to return for whatever reason.)
You have 58 minutes or rounds of possible investigation. No spells are found on Densis. This seems odd, but he was a thrall of a more powerful defiler.

"Yes. Already we mourn. The crimson robes are donned when the light of a Lawkeeper is extinguished. It was wise of you to bring her remains. We will inter them with proper honor and ceremony." States the one previously known to you as Speaker Veneteer.
"There is one issue."
The other two figures nod in unison.
"Your half man attempted to steal from our vaults. He has had a hand removed in accordance to our laws. Since you have brought us Wyan? He will be returned to you with no other sentence to serve."
An unnamed one to the left hisses, "S-s-show us-s the head of the betrayer." As it looks at you with burning jade eyes, visible even in the midday light.

Yiska replies, "What of my brother?"
Veneteer returns with, "He is intact. We must have the head... and then you may rejoin each other's company."

The 4 armed giant help's Mak take the head out with his two lower arms. While firmly holding the top knot He also removes Wyan's gag with a smirk. "You're home buddy..." He says to the head as he turns it to face the trio.

"You will return his severed hand to us. I expect you all to make good on your other promises as well."
Mak holds the bag so that Hurk may easily remove Wyan's head from it.
