The dried corpse dates 2,231 years in age. Whether the rope is the same age? You'd have to cast the spell once again.
Once touched, the corpse *does* attempt to move. However, hanging from one's ancient dead neck causes it to merely sway and slowly claw in your direction ineffectively.
Once more, you can hear and feel the thrum of the ruins. The large cats turn and face the heart of the city. The howls get louder as well. Ral begins to caterwaul, as if in heat. Guthay merely salivates and low growls.

(OOC: Bob, what year is it now? Free Year calendar or King’s Age?)

Year of Priest's Defiance, in the 190th King's Age. Two months after the new year. In game terms, it does not run concurrent with my other campaign. Similar events may have happened, but news of those things have not spread to Celik at this point.
Please be aware that I usually don't have players keep the exact dates unless required to do so as part of a merchant crew or the like.

Once touched, the corpse *does* attempt to move. However, hanging from one's ancient dead neck causes it to merely sway and slowly claw in your direction ineffectively. Quila is startled both by the movement and the knowledge she just gained, even though she was alert. She steps back from the hanging bodies and looks at their faces. Have they opened their eyes? Do I sense or feel anything else? Once more, you can hear and feel the thrum of the ruins. The large cats turn and face the heart of the city. The howls get louder as well. Ral begins to caterwaul, as if in heat. Guthay merely salivates and low growls. Quila shivers and looks back to the dead bodies to see whether the psionic thrum seems to have an effect on the undead. Looking at Ibubesi and his cats, she asks “What do you think is going on here Ibubesi? What does the behavior of your pretties tell you?” Pausing for a second as if thinking, she then follows up “do you guys think this effect comes from the towers?”

I guess cos of both my Astrology nwp and my Kurnan education I do know the King’s Age and Merchant Calendars though.

"Hmm, I don't know. This behavior is new to me. Maybe..."
(Animal Lore check: Nat 20 vs. 14 - fail)
(Ibubesi's hand whips out, holy symbol in hand)
"STOP! Flaunter of the Forest's grace and embrace, HOLD! Raise your left arm, the Forest commands you!"
(Rolled a 13 for Turn/Rebuke).

The thing raises its arm after quieting. Well, actually? All the hanging corpses do the same.
The two hunting cats circle a bit outside of the building.
Baxby calls out from the opposing rooftop.
"Something's amiss!"

Baxby calls out from the opposing rooftop. "Something's amiss!" "of COURSE it is!" the halfling says quietly to himself as he rolls his eyes and waves his hand.
He quickly bolts out to where he can see Baxby and raises his arms and shoulders up silently

Baxby calls out from the opposing rooftop. "Something's amiss!" Quila looks around to see if there is any easy way to get to a rooftop. Either here in this warehouse or the first. I can throw up a rope to Baxby to help me get up there. If I do manage to get up there I get to the edge and look to the east, scanning from south to north. I have my bow at the ready but also stand ready to cast a spell depending on what I see. [OOC: edited in later - Bob, is there any way to tell what race those bodies are from? Obviously half-giant, thri-kreen, halfling or pterran would be quite obvious, but maybe others no so much (anymore)?]

- Valmera moves out, following the others after seen the reaction that the hanged bodies made following Ibubesi's words - 'I'm not remaining here alone' - As she tries to climb to a nearby roof
[OOC: 33, Climb walls succeeded]

Moktli smoothly pivots to move with Ibubesi to the street. He tracks the positions of the rooftop crew and tries to remain in at least one of their sightlines. He paces with the cats, checking blindspots. To Bax he calls out:
"Oi! Describe the amiss!"

There are dark clouds coming in from the west, perhaps north as well. The sun does not hide yet, but may soon take respite from the day. Another thing adds a dark cast.
As kes'trekel amass mid city. Perhaps two dozen... so far. They circle, but seem to be spiraling towards you slowly.
Howls get louder. Baxby points to the north.
"Them beasts we saw below! At least one of 'em is headed this way! A big arse white one!"
The two hunting cats meh-wower and call into the building anticipation.
Some of you are climbing as Baxby looks to scurry down.

"I'm pretty tired and can't use much of the way until I rest some but I can at least protect our flanks." says Hawkings as he tightens his tortoise blade straps. "Do we try and capture this albino for the reward or kill it outright for its meat?"

"Easy, Hawk. blades up, them birdies want dinner. If we can subdue the pale growler, I'm all ears. Otherwise we got work to do.."
He pays attention to what the Kirres are doing.
