Quila lets herself be guided back by Moktli. "Hopefully they will remain stationary now, grabbed by roots in the ground. I do not know these creatures I think, but must confess not having really looked at them before passing South Bridge."

She looks at Baxby and says: "You are from Celik, right? Do you know what these creatures are?" Pausing, then: "Or Ibubesi, you are a beastmaster they tell. Have you encountered such howling beasts before?"
