Otherwise, hunting down individual personae might take time. [Bob is there a time situation we're not aware of? It seems it would behoove us to go to every market/person to hear their sales pitch and see who has the best prices for our current wares and future items we may come upon, no?]

(Agreed, but shenanigans might ensue if we go to the tent-town outside the walls or visit the Tari - which could be cool/fun.)

- Quila, if we sell the items outside House Maraneth's stalls, will this affect our relationship with them as we are part of them? Any kind of future retaliation? - asks concerned - After how they treated us at the gates, I'm wondering if this possible outcome migh happen

Any kind of future retaliation? - asks concerned - After how they treated us at the gates, I'm wondering if this possible outcome migh happen Quila thinks for a while then shrugs. "Honestly I don't know whether us selling elsewhere will have an effect. I'm more concerned with us selling with them at this moment because we sidestepped taxes, or what the bridge crew cals 'having first cut' on things."(OOC: Bob, I did 2 Bureaucracy rolls, the first for the question Valmera asks to check if I know the answer - with a 18 vs 14 it's a failure, so I don't know. With the 2nd one, 12 vs 14 - success, I will influence a sales transaction giving us from my point at least a 10% better price.)

Moktli pulls Baxby to the side, but in hearing range of the others:
"Oi my sneaky bruv. That Tari market pay good for dem eggs, and stuff for our new camp in the ruins? Treat us fair? Treat us better than the bosses? You know of others we can deal with?"

"There are multiple entrances and exits to the city. The bridge crew might try to extort us to keep us from going back to the ruins, but House Mareneth wants people doing this work, so I doubt they can make it stick. We can always claim that we just went in another way," says Calidane.

- Could it be that those guards are not members of the house and they try to take advantage of the house profits this way? - speaking her mind, but not out loud
[OOC: Where exactly are we now? In an alleyway within Celik?]

"No Valmera those were house members. We who signed feel that others are member or not. It is standard procedure for the bridgeguards to take a cut of findings in the Old City, especially when you are new house members."
Looking at Calidane, Quila adds: "You have a point there. A point I might be able to exploit in a next encounter. Thanks Calidane."

The tari might be able to help, but you'll need to cross the steep riverbed outside the city and to the SW part of the ruins outside of the wall, in what is referred to as "The Snarl". A large thicket of brambleweed that covers the ratmen's abode and entrance into the ruins. To do so? You would need to decide to approach via the north or south (it would be closer to walk from the south).
There is a good chance that something as small as kes'trekel eggs will be forgotten quickly. But first impressions, you know?

(Ibubesi, for one, does not need to undertake such and adventure to sell such meager loot. Perhaps after well sell off we could take a run over to the Snarl, and see what they need/want. Or just ask our Tari friend.)

Hawkings suggests he sell the groups findings to the house and then we explore outward from there.

Quila agrees to first sell to the house. It’s best to make sure our relation is not strained from the start.

"That makes sense. They might not give us the best deal, but starting out making friends is probably a good call," says Calidane.

- At least they would not see us as a threat but it's going to be an issue, I believe - Valmera looks to them - How will we explain that we are trading here with the house if we did not go through the gates to the eyes of the guards? That would like very suspicious and then any breach of the security could be blamed upon us.
We are still the newcomers here, as doing so in any other market will be less suspicious, or just accumulating, paying some of us the toll and then trade inside here

"Let's just see how it goes. I see no problems and we can always pay the taxes if they were actually due. But since we have not used the bridge, there is no bridge tax to be levied if you ask me." Quila says to Valmera.
