The Nirik Tohr party: Hurk, Ande, Coden & Niachi

Enemy's Slumber, 6th of Dominary - Late afternoon/Early evening

Current Locations: Kreen Empire, Nirik-Tohr - Outside the city entrance

The planar folding takes this faction of the party into Nirik. No one is aged through this travel. [DM rolled.]

Everything seems as you've left it, if for a doubling of those that guard the town's limits. It hot out today and you've been pampered by the controlled environ of the Messenger.

After pushing his massive pack through the transport magiks, HurKling removes his loincloth and releases his Metamorphosis to quickly reform into his 12' self. He loudly sighs with a wide arm stretch "WHEW! I'm tired. My Nexus is as empty as my waterskin. We got time for a nap or do we need to go RIGHT NOW to the blast site?" He asks the little bird-lady Templar

Ande pauses at the mention of a nap, surveying the darkening skies above "I had intended to investigate the site in the light of day, perhaps a nap would best serve our investigation? Yes, I do believe it could!"  she replies to HurK before heading into the party quarters.

Exhaustedly he replies "GOOD, good. I'll take first watch..." the giant lifts up his pack and follows into the dome and gets dressed into his traveling robe.

As the team prepares for sleep HurK asks "We taking the mounts? If not we'll have to fly because my ankles'll get cut the ribbons over time amd I don't feel like leaving a blood trail in tall grass with who knows what's lurking in it."

[Niachi]

Blinking in the sudden heat and daylight, Niachi limbers up and points to the storage medallion around HurK's neck:

"I can refill that.  After we rest, we should bring our hosts up to current knowledge. I can ready a Tongues spell."

"My thanks Niachi, I'll take the psionic aid!"

Once the sun has set and the skies give way to stars of night, Ande will go outside and look at the stars above Nirik-Tohr. Afterwards, she will focus her attention on the view of the night sky from the location of The Seed; Clairvoyance rolled a 5 needing under a 16. She will take note of the pertinent astrological data visible to her from both sites and compile it into a pair of charts to be compared during the Omen Reading this is prep work for.

Just before she begins with the Omen Reading, she'll cast Call Upon Faith for a +3.

Omen Reading Question: "How do we best protect our [read: Oronis' as Ande comprehends] aims regarding The Seed currently?"

After the Omen Reading (which might get shared depending on how it reads), Ande would approach Coden and HurK "I want to thank you both for allowing Niachi and I, to both get a full night's rest, this will prove most helpful I am sure.  I think in the morning it would be best to take the mounts when we go, unless we can all fly as I cannot carry all of you.  Sleep well comrades" and she roots at the highest interior point she can.

[Attilius]

"No thanks needed. [He gently pats her shoulder] "I am weak from the big fire woman. Not my finest first date I tell you..." the giant smirks
"I need to rest myself to rejuvenate my Nexus. In the morning I'll be able to fly all of us."

[DM Bob]

Omen reading gives two words.

"Rest quickly."

[Niachi]

Niachi sleeps with his arms cuddled around his sheathed longbow.

As HurK pats Ande's shoulder gently, she reaches up and lays her wing talon on his hand "We'll all need to be watchful, for I am not sure how much time we have for rest.  I can ensure all of your rest if only you are willing, though I cannot ensure my own for another several hours"

Ande offers castings of Nap, she can cover all three other party members present with a single casting but would suggest staggering 2, 1, 1 with the last one being her at midnight (if shit hasn't gone sideways before then).  Recommending HurK/Niachi, then Coden, for 3/4 restore in two hours time (Ande will Nap once she can).

Ande would also drop Blessed Watchfulness on herself and take up Vigil in the doorway again.

HurK nods his thanks "Normally I would pass on magiks but I trust your future sight spells so will take it. See you in an hour..." the giant lays down against his singed pack as a makeshift pillow and closes his eyes

Coden takes a watch turn, hoping that perhaps someone's Danger Sense will kick in if something goes awry.

Ande gets a ping from Quila at about 5 after 11 PM.

<"Will do. Tell them to look for me and I will make sure that I am where help is.">

Ande rises from her Vigil and turns to face the others while gesturing vigorously for them to follow her as she begins hopping in the direction of J'lact. "I trust you all are well-rested and prepared? We have wounded incoming, our forces have engaged with Graytch, they'll need space to tend the wounded. We are to inform J'lact and prepare for their imminent arrival. Niachi, I don't know that any of us speak Tohr fluently, please tell me you can do your Tongues spell? Please relay to J'lact our apologies for the sudden necessity of space for urgent medical attention to large numbers of wounded. Emphasize that they're our comrades and not food please. I told them to land on me as I would make sure that I was where help was. I do not know how much time we have before our wounded begin arriving."

Ande will stay in the thick of things (the kreen assembling to help) but doing her best to stay out of the way. Once wounded start arriving, Ande can use 3 Cure Lights and 1 Cure Moderate and a Nap to recharge spells once she can for even more heals (if they're needed).
