Personal reading results on Aman the Maker:
A powerful magician and maker of constructs & war machines, both living & engineered. He is considered highly skilled, highly intelligent and highly regarded (to those that remember him that is) - yet stagnant in progression. His standing is that to be mistrusted, as he values personal gain above all other things. Aman was successful at avoiding true death and the Grey Lands. He loves to be amused and distracted by the monotony of undeath. If one fails to amuse him, they may forfeit their life just to make him feel alive just briefly.
Locate object: This is a weird reading. Quila does indeed detect a similar object, but the distance seems, well, in flux? Almost like something is blocking or confusing the divination. After a few moments she believes it to be 110 yards away, but that might be because the spell needed to go around something blocking the most direct route? You've never had this spell act this way before.
Sacred guardian will not show Chat in direct danger at this time.

"WHAT?" Chat'cho shouts down. "THIS IS THE WRONG *UILDING?!" Attilius waves her to come back down "IT IS FOR US"

Unlike most Thri-Kreen, Chat'cho can not only speak Trade Common but read it. With this knowledge, she bends down to place her hands upon the trapdoor and scores the wood there with her claws. D A N G E R D O N O T E N T E R U N D E A D I N S I D E
She adds a small pictogram depicting a trio of skeleton soldiers for those who can't read.
Her message in place, she gathers her rope back up, transforms back into the Kes'trekel bird, and flies back down to land on Quila's shoulder.

Chat'cho cocks her head at him in confusion, but decides not to interrupt him. Far be it from her to ruin his fun.

- Skrye just follows them, learning from their words, trying to make some remembering from her knowledge
[OOC: Is an ancient history roll appropriate now Bob? If so I misunderstood everything, I rolled a Nat 20]

(You all got way ahead of me, answering Quila's question from prior thread.)
Coden replies to Quila's earlier question, "I'm afraid it's hard to be certain. Anyone could have moved in here in the time that's passed since last we came through here. The most pertinent but unhelpful thing I can say probably is that this place has some kind of lignering magic and psychic power. It's warded, making it hard to move through it by magic or by folding space. It is a wizard's tower, after all. Probably undead still lingering around. We're going to have to explore it physically; even my third eye can't penetrate its secrets."
To Attilius he says, "Sorry, my telepathic abilities are more like... telepathetic abilities. I don't have the ability to link minds yet."

To Attilius he says, "Sorry, my telepathic abilities are more like... telepathetic abilities. I don't have the ability to link minds yet." "No problem Coden, we try this the normal way then..."Attilius will go over to the tower and simply knock on any shape that may resemble a door. If nothing looks 'door like', then the nearest wall section in the shade will do. "Master Aman! Attilius and Coden have returned! We wish to speak with you of your brother... PLEASE..." the giant belts out into the tower wall

"My divinations for similar flasks of oil in the tomb is thrown of somehow as if something is interfering with its powers. I don't recall ever having had this before. It must be the same interference or screen like Coden said interfered in his clairsentient powers or phasing that was jammed. It would seem it's an effect on at least Aman's tower but also this tomb. Now to find an entrance ..." Quila's voice trails off as she hears Attilius in the distance yelling and stomping on something. She lets out a small sigh of exasperation then smiles. She will move away from the squat structure of the tomb into more open terrain towards the rest of the group and make sure there is at least 60 feet between her and others. She will also try to stay out of the imaginary 'inside' of the triangle between the three structures. As she walks she makes muffled creaky breathy noises for some, but to the Kes'trekel on her shoulder it sounds more intelligible [Kreen]"I wonder how some of our fellow travelers have survived for so long using such tactics. I am glad to have you along too." Quila lets her fingers glide over the claws of the bird and walks on towards the rest.
(OOC: Bob, how far apart are these 3 ruins from each other?)

There is no immediate reply. But...
After a while of pounding on the wall, a floating illusionary death's head with glowing electric green eyes appears and states,
"Look. While this is *lightly* amusing, unless you wish to proclaim servitude to me for 101 days or decide to brave my home once again (Things have changed, new surprises and exciting ways to perish!), I suggest you leave me be. I'm still tidying up the corpses from the last batch of explorers and the acid spiders are still well blood bloated. As for my brother, Myron could use a bit of a prodding. Go bother him and his menagerie."
The skull then fades from existence without awaiting a reply.
The three buildings are perhaps a few soccer fields apart in distance, not quite equidistant, with the columned building set the furthest away.

Without sharing, 'Muiko attempts to recreate the skull for his own collection.
Artistic Ability rolled a 15 needing a 13 or less (Failure: The scene isn't incorrect but there are numerous mistakes regarding the design of the skull and it was Attilius there in actuality but for whatever reason 'Muiko drew Coden? maybe...)

"Thanks Master Aman!" Attilius pats the building softly with a smile and turns to the group
"See? Old fashioned way still works. Anyone got trap seein' magiks? Nows da time..." He lifts his towershield and gouge to the ready then starts walking towards the squarish, squat building built of mortared stone.

Chat'cho hops down off of Quila's shoulder, caws noisily, and starts waddling off in front of the group. For whatever reason, she seems to plan on going first now despite her statements to the contrary earlier.

Before she enters Quila will have quickly had Snarf’s Fang in a bowl of water and activated the psionic power of Radial Navigation (rolled a 3 needed an 18, success).
Her Locate Object dweomer will also still be active for hours to come so Quila will at least try and see if the locator becomes more useful once inside.
