These templars are the lower grunt level, likely taken from the Tribunal staff pool.
Akos shakes his head.
"I was not chiding, simply stating the opening a dimensional rift into the city is something that rings more bells than you realize. If this were done at a time of high alert, protocols may've caused things to end poorly for you and your friends. A good place to do this is outside the inner gate to Fort Protector. We haven't had much of this occur, so you are of course forgiven. There will be warning given to those on duty to ask questions first and retaliate later given to the guard staff.
Oronis is aware of the things that dwell in the ruins. They play games and exact prices for what they hold, none of this was likely "free"."
He gestures to the loot and in particular the dark book.
"If you left with these, they want them here. That's bait."
He thinks for a second and posits,
"Why don't you reclaim your mounts and I'll have these looked at. Will that take you long?"

He thinks for a second and posits, "Why don't you reclaim your mounts and I'll have these looked at. Will that take you long?" "We still have that big floor door to explore..." The gladiator does his best to recount how heavily barred it is. He removes his Balican helm and wipes his brow sweat. "AND we have to go to the plane of fire to get those little wormies for Aman too... At least Chat'cho does with that GeeeASS spell he casted on him."

Chat'cho appears to have absolutely no idea what the hell is going on.

Niachi squints and stretches luxuriously in the hot sun. His shadow is strong and distinct on the ground, as is should be. He complies with instructions and helps unload their haul. He adds the Hellworm Branding Iron and waits for debriefing. The xerichou preens its wings on his shoulder, tail draped around his neck.

At least Chat'cho does with that GeeeASS spell he casted on him." Gwin looks over at Attilius “Gessshhh” He says as he makes sure to add the items he’d been carrying in his portfolio to the pile for examination. Yvera is barely visible draped on Gwin's shoulder, sheltering under his beard and hair. Gwin will calmly and patiently wait to return for the mounts.

- "Yes, his brother, that's why he could be more relaxed about the recollection of items" - in a kind of sarcastic mood but still worried tone - "So,if Amman is an arcane caster... What was Myron? Also, after what was said, if anyone is going to return for the animals, it might be better doing it from Old Kurn and not from we are now" - as she helps with the unload, adding the silver tiara with gems to the list of items to be inspected, then looking at Akos - "I can help with the identification of some of these items" - in polite tone

Who knows what else? Warlord, psion, there was quite some fire elemental materials as well. But maybe those were spoils of wars he waged. We don't know before we read."

In the hustle and bustle in that crypt I gave it no further thought, thinking our druid would've had previous experience folding into New Kurn. Obviously that was very irresponsible of me. I will do better and make myself more acquainted with the best places to do so." Oronis is aware of the things that dwell in the ruins. Especially given the fact some of this has some link with <whisper> Rajaat </whispers>, a fire cult, of which the efreetes must have knowledge off, and with psurlons. That tomb was fully warded against scrying and psionics, so these have been undetectable for lord knows how long. Now they are detectable yes. And here."He thinks for a second and posits, "Why don't you reclaim your mounts and I'll have these looked at. Will that take you long?" "The time it takes us to get to outside the inner gate of Fort Protector, port to the mounts, and then travel back over land. A day, maybe two. Unless we can get all mounts through a portal. Then we're back even sooner."

"Since you will be expected, just bring your mounts just outside New Kurn, as it seems that you are running on limited time." He gestures generally towards the fields and Coden could help with a suitable entrance and exit point that was a little less flashy.

Chat'cho waggles her abdomen. At the very least, casting portal spells is something she understands. She didn't really think the mounts were that important, but what the heck.

It isn't much of an issue at all. The mounts are returned as well as Quila's new companion as the items are looked over by the psion leader and the templarate. Aka time passes to early evening.
At this time, the 6 oils and the branding iron are returned to you.
"The dark tome is a worry. The book itself seems to be the trap? At least as far as our divinations are concerned. For the moment, we will keep it under close scrutiny within the library. As for the journals? You are free to peruse them here as well after librarian Gruv is finished with them. You see, he has a special caveat here. He is allowed first gaze upon any text that is to be admitted within. No worry though, as he reads quite quickly. Perhaps if you pick two that you would like to focus on, he can read those first."
Pointing to the rusted iron stave, the whistle, the bracelet, tiara and rugs, etc...
"The staff needs to be looked into further... it is likely that Oronis knows of its use and history if our suspicions are correct. As for the other items, I must also discuss with our leader as how best to distribute such valuables. Once we have a chance to discuss such matters I will let you know."

Quila will either meet up with Gruv herself and tell him or go through Akos (but why would she, as she knows Gruv far better than Akos, or at least has more of a click with the librarian).
"Our focus would go out first to To The Elements & Beyond as that volume details the elemental planes and denizens, and then we might have the best use of Enemies of Establishment as I expect there is some chance we might risk into some of those creatures that are described in that one. I think my visit to this tomb of Myron in the Buried City is one we can add to that session we still need to have to write down things for the ages Gruv. I have not forgotten it."
Quila will also try to find an audience with Presider Ulali of the Tribunal to find out what the current situation is regarding the kreen and if any contact has been had with J'lact of Nirik-Tohr.
Her other time will be filled with library time and reading about Giustenal, including whatever she might know regarding the Green Age Giustenal. She will ask 'Muiko to help her, as he has a complementary historical periodic knowledge to hers. He might know stuff about that place during a different time. Together with Niachi they will do research.

Attilius asks the templars and/or Akos where a weapon or armorsmith is in town and head there to look at his gear to make any needed repairs from the last 2 days wear & tear. He'll offer to take and sharpen any of his teammates weapons too.

‘Muiko will make for the library, seeking to find the spells “Copy” and “Unseen Servant” in order to learn and transcribe them into his spellbook.
Copy: Learn spells 85% rolled a 66%; Success Unseen Servant: Learn spells 85% rolled a 74%; Success
If allowed (and the necessary materials are available), he will Copy “To the Elements & Beyond”, “Constructs & Stored Power” and “Of Vessels, Masks & Avatars” before declaring himself spent and requiring rest (unless of course, a Nap is available). Once refreshed of slots, ‘Muiko would offer to Copy the other books brought back as well. He would then set to researching Giustenal with the Unseen Servant as a book fetch if necessary.
There are other spells of relevance to our trip to Giustenal, how much time is allotted for spell research?, I can think of another 14 hours of spells (Filter, Item, Stoneskin, Proofing vs Combustion) that I would argue are all highly relevant.
