The worms start to disperse, at least the small ones. The three largest still present a threat. Only one is currently affected by the whirlpool of earth, but it seems to be a good thing to keep maintaining. The one furthest from the tari has been confronted by the outriders, Sendic's team. Attilius finds himself confronted with a single, dark fleshed worm with razor sharp teeth rising before him, apparently now less interested in fighting the other worms. Initiative 3 [AC -8, -10 vs ranged] Attilius yells to Skrye "GET BACK! IT'S REARING UP!" as he moves to put himself in-between her and the worm while slicing at its neck... (Initiative 8) Attack 1: Hit AC -6, 21 nonmagical slashing spin Attack 2: crit! Hit AC -10, 25 nonmagical slashing (Initiative 11) Shield punch to the open wounds: Hit AC -7, 21 nonmagical piercing

Chat'cho leaps into the fray, charging around behind the largest and most dangerous-looking worm. Gurgling the incantation for one of the most deadly spells she knows, the druidess extends all four of her arms forward and outward, meaning to deliver a Harm spell to slay the beast!
[THAC0: 14, attacking at +4, rolled 14, hits AC -4]
[Harm spell has no saving throw--if a hit is scored, worm is reduced to 1d4 [2] HP.]
[If the worm lost more than half its HP in one hit, System Shock or die.]
[If the worm lost more than 50 HP in one hit, Save vs Death or die.]
[Occurs on Initiative 11]

Niachi sets aside his bow and points his hand out the window to cast Magic Missiles at the big Entangled, Held, and Brutalized worm.
In Elven fashion, this spell's somatic component is pointing with the raised middle finger, a gesture that his people make both elegant and deeply offensive for some reason.
Magic Missiles: auto hit visible target in line of sight, 10 damage.
He stays here as long as A) it is safe from structural quake damage B) he can keep line-of-sight on the battle.
If neither apply next round, he bolts to engage while trying to survive falling things etc.

Not knowing where Coden is and not taking his eyes off the fun down below, he yells out:
"Coden! good vantage point from here!"

Coden whips his head around when he hears Niachi and does his best to navigate toward the elf, spear and shield in hand as the violence erupts.

Quila holds position as the kreen counter attack this round. Another drops and one of the hunters takes a light blow, but doesn't seem affected by the poison. Well, at least yet.
***
The others fight as they are prone to do. The left most uninjured one faces Attilius, and hits AC -11 for 23 points of damage, a severe bite that somehow doesn't down the goliath.
Chat can only reach the one engaged by the calvary, but does so spectacularly, smiting the dark purple hided beast in one deft blow.
The soldiers attention turns to their left, the worm in the rockpool. It is not entangled, but rides the earthen flow as it lacks the ability to properly attack one of the party at this moment. This one takes the brunt of the magical missile blows.
Att's blows do some considerable damage to the worm, but he does not drop the gigantic beast. Instead, the holding magic takes it's course and freezes the foe in place.
Coden is able to sneak a spear blow in on the one in the middle as it passes. Some damage is done - the fight seems pretty well under control as the left most foe is held and the middle somewhat wounded. However, there is a chance that that final worm is too much to handle (if you all roll miserably that is).

Initiative 11 (rolled 8, -1 for Dex, +4 for Casting Time)
While invisible, 'Muiko casts Polymorph Other on the whirlpool riding worm, changing it into a Carru if it fails a Save vs Spells.

- Skrye moves a step back as she's not looking to let that whirled and entangled worm to go anywhere to raise havoc and chaos, as much as she can do to please the Half-giant without breaking her own concentration

The kreen are able to dispatch the remaining scorpions with little injury.
They do indeed stop and stare at Quila in the cold calculating way the mantis people stare. The heads cock, antennae wiggle and there's a few nods and clicks. Finally one of the ones before you offers in crude common, "Thank you 'or healing our clutch leader. We ha'e no healer of our own. Where did you co'e fro-mm, dras?"

Meanwhile the one remaining giant wormthreat is turned into a carru and thusly torn apart by the remaining whirlpool.
The held one is easily hacked to bits before it reawakens. The bird people will eat well tonight.
It's about 8:45 at night and you're feeling a bit mentally worn out, even with all of your recent naps.

Niachi pats himself down to confirm he has all his gear. With a lingering glance at the direction of the secret library passage, he gestures to Coden to regroup down below. He will try to examine the carcass of a purple worm, if only to learn of its anatomy and if he recalls any useful spell components from it.
He'll follow Syndic's lead on the aftermath and help whatever is needed.

"Greetings. I am Quila Oris and I come from the city of Kurn to the east of here. By chance I teleported right in your circle during the combat. I am glad I could help your brave and noble tek-hoz. I need to take care of some unfinished business here," Quila says while pointing to the tower of Aman a little bit ahead, "The occupant tried playing tik-dul almost killing my g'tok-dra but not even for sustenance, but for 'fun', just to see what would happen." Quila puts in a range of emotion, going from an uplifting jubilance of being able to have assisted the pack, to a more morose and peeved tone.

The giant seeks out any fallen people first then secondly any structures that were compromised from either the burrowing or earthen whirlpool. If anything looks like it's about to collapse he'll call out to the inhabitants within to help them escape before the structural destruction.

Coden keeps running as directed by Niachi to get down into the finale of the fight. Thanks to his tremendous reservoirs of bodily stamina, he just keeps jogging without breaking a sweat, up one stairway and down another.

- Once the worm is tore away by the Whirlpool, a sense of please runs in her mind, keeping it for as long as any other huge worms are around and within the vicinity of it, before appeasing the lords of earth with such 'offering' - 'From earth you came, to earth you just returned' - she thinks as her heartbeat calms down after the effort put in the concentration and looking at Attilius before heading back, looking for the others

Common, without the kreen inflections this post: "We try to stay away from this place, but the elven tribes nearby attacked chased us here earlier this day. Once they were in sight of the ruins our pursuers turned about. Our pack is but half it's number since the elves attacked us. Only as we were thinking about heading east ourselves under cover of night, hoping that the threat had passed, were we then attacked by these scorpions. Would you be able to escort us from this place? A traveler as powerful as you seems sent by the ancestors in our time of need."
