...she takes her leave and rejoins the rest. She tells the following in both tohr-kreen and (slightly less loud, making it harder to overhear) in elven: "chick-chat klity klak cack... blah blah blapity blah..."The muscle bound scholar of death and dismemberment looks around ...When we are someplace less crowded and less likely to be overheard Quila will elaborate: "I secured us passage across the dunes, guides, a map, and a no-questions-asked-attitude as long as we help protect the transport while we are on the road to their tar pits near the city ruins."

The dwur brothers laugh.
The horny one speaks first. "My name is Durex. Me brother's name is Halthram. We only be about ten years apart, practically twins. I assume you have tents and such, Cromlin don't have much in the way of lodging for the travelin' types. The silt men either camp out the south wall or stay to their craft, and others keep close to their wagon circles if ya catch me drift."
He's thinking he hopes you have another place to stay for the evening, since he doesn't want to feed the entire group of you. He might be open to the safety of the camp if this were addressed.
His brother smiles and adds, "The pits we now use are closer to the ruins proper. We used to tar mine just a wee bit south of here until it got played out. Whole operation is a bit more distant than it used to be... about 20 some odd miles through the tar fields an' such."
You can assume that travel will take somewhere between ten and twenty hours depending on how difficult the terrain.

And this tall one we keep for his sneaky talents but not his looks harharr.. “ "Quit telling people I'm your brother just cause I'm not curvy like her" 'Muiko says in his best effeminate baritone through the face wrap with a wink to the dwarves. 'Muiko appears visibly shocked by Quila's ease of speaking in Tohr-Kreen. [Elven: "How does that work? Do- what, um, huh?"] If the other dwarf pursues 'Muiko's bait, he'll be Yosemite Sam to 'Muiko's Bugs Bunny. Worked over for entertainment, information and profit.

OOC: Did the gith reply to me asking their names as we drank? What did Niachi see when he sneaked a look under the table ? "Gruun." Grunts one. "Vak." Hisses the other. The weapons are short spears with a wide obsidian head held by hardened tar. They also have knives of various make and what looks to be a sling at Gruun's belt. Other than that, silt litters the floor as well as standard bar debris.

"We have our own food and water, so we might as well start our mutual agreement tonight and make camp together." She looks around, a bit dramatically but believably so, and looks back first at Halthram, then Durex, and continues, "That is safer too given the, erm ... scenery. It would also allow for an early start tomorrow."
