"No the embalming room is through that door," Quila points to the south-east corner door in the room they are in, "Which leads to the chute 90 feet deep where the chariot and the two sarcophagi are. I think that is where Myron must be but he could honestly be anywhere."
Quila then looks again to the eastern wall with a fresco on it, "And through here you eventually come to another hall with niches. Behind that hall I have not explored yet so that is unclear."
To Niachi and Attilius she then says "I think either the embalming room or the second room we were in look most defensible. The embalming room only has the chute with a 90 feet drop down, and a door that leads here with a pit trap between, as it's entrances."

Quila nods a firm affirmation, then stands at the ready to assist either Skrye or Thessik with any and all spells to increase their chances of disarming and removing traps.

Thessik sees no apparent trap. Upon looking within, he can only come up with the conclusion that the hands themselves were the trap in question.

Thessik wipes his tools clean and dusts off his hands.
"Bonebox clear. I expect more them hand-things popping out all over this place. 'Less anyone else gots the skills or hexes to make sure, eh?"
He will try again with offered hexing or others' thieving skills.
Protections in effect: +2 to saves vs fear from his stone dirk.

Tallboi Niachi checks in:
"I say we clear this room then set camp in the morgue room for some Nap action. (indicating the sarcophagus) I got a couple hexes left, we need to recharge."
He stands with open hands, watching over those attending to the bonebox.

Attilius kneels down and inspects the altar, 3 statues and the raised pedestal area they were on for any secret compartments or metals hidden within that may have been used as part of their construction.
He'll then examine the 6 columns for anything odd or out of place on them.

Niachi will also stoop down to scrape the floor, gathering dust from a wizard's tomb and any bone fragments that might be found.

Taking lead to move into the embalming room for some rest Quila addresses the group: "So, remember, in that embalming room there is a magical trap in the doorway that leads to the 90 feet chute down. And we need to pass the insect-filled pit trap leading into the chamber that is right behind this door here."
Quila then quietly opens the door in the south-east corner of the room.

Attilius notices that this altar is less pompous than the one in the tomb you visited before. Scratches and marks from where something heavy was removed sometime in the past, perhaps even matching the relics and candles removed from the mosaic and golem room, make you think that for some reason items were shifted, shared or stored between the two buildings. Perhaps it has something to do with Aman moving his brother to and fro in the past.
Thessik states that he'd attempt to do so if the parties undivided attention watched his back.
Opening the door to the SE, you can easily avoid the lightly concealed pit.
However, reaching the door might be an issue as the pit is relatively flush to the door, which is shut, locked & trapped as well.

With Coden's help, Attilius will move the sarcophagus's lid over the pit. Once secured, he'll stand on over watch.

"Can we maybe fuse this stone slab lid of the sarcophagus with the floor and walls so we don't have to keep it in place all the time or watch it? I could then Phase through and open the door from the other side and bypass the trapped door handle on this side. Is that an idea?"

- "An easy one to be done, curiously I was thinking about it. I'm going with you, or whoever would like to come for it. Although when passing it from side to side, it's a matter of been careful to avoid it from cracking and fall down the pit"
