[6 HP health; 6 PSPs for the first two hours travel/12 total for the day. You decide to spend health and then I roll, Mike.]
Haddan feels giddy; slightly high as he enjoys Lilim's company in the dream-prison. The winds do pick up, as well as the average speed. You leave a high plume of silt behind the Gambit that would obscure any signs of pursuit. You pass mountains on both the left on the shore and right in the form of isles jutting out of the dust.
Flying creatures are seen, but high in the sky. You do not feel a target.
At another point during the travel, you swear you see large pinkish-white tentacles crest the silt near the shore-side. Luckily, you are moving fast enough that you don't even need to worry much, they fade into the afternoon as you travel on. As you approach a landmass to the right, Abez and the elves cast the sign of the evil eye and they slow the boat. If fact, Abez makes a point of rousing Haddan and tells him to have Lilim slow down.
"The silt can be shallow here. I do not want to wreck her."
He then leaves top-side. The elves pass out poles as the ship slows. They prod ahead to make sure the silt is deep enough to continue.
Abez whispers to each crew member in turn.
"We should reach a suitable spot by nightfall."

HurK takes a pole and does as instructed.

HurK takes a pole and does as instructed. Haadan does as asked and coaxes Lilim to slow down. He'll also activate Danger Sense (and if possible, attempt to multitask managing the helm and keeping in contact with Abez).

[Once tapped in to the helm, outside focus is unattainable. You need to be awoken and then re-tap in. It's one of the main reasons that the Gambit needs psions in addition to the normal staff.]
You brave the strait without any issues - this time. You feel that if wind displaced silt (as if a tidal shift or change in wind patterns occurred) that this could change in the future.
Your stomachs grumble as to eventually make it to the first X on the map. You've made extremely good time as it is getting darker. Abez has the poles brought out again as he slowly sidles the Gambit close to the shore, eventually setting her down upon some shallow silt. You're perhaps 25 feet from the shore though, which is further than a gangplank can reach. You will either need to stay on the ship, have Hurk ferry you across or some other such plan.
There is one slight snag.
Hurk has never traveled from here to Nibenay.
You know it's west. Maybe a bit to the north as well? You know there's the forest sidled up to a mountain range and Laahk and the elves can attest to the size of the hot water springs that are on the south side of the Stone City itself, but...
Will you chance a flight tonight in the dark? Or rest, and try to fly later in the day tomorrow? Who goes with? Who stays? You will need Bankhuv with for sure... as you might need to transport inter-dimensionally.

Maybe something like octopus for sushi chefs or spell components for divine casters?

You can't think of anyone ever bringing a full corpse to the City (maybe a piece or chunk here or there). They aren't easily transported after death as they sink if actually killed. They also don't die much. You could probably get some interest in a full carcass, dissection or the like. Athasians like gore.

Who besides Haddan has Mindlink?] <"I vote we rest the night and leave just before dawn, I am eager to achieve our goals"> is communicated to each person aboard via Telepathy Haadan then collapses exhausted and sleeps until he wakes naturally or is woken up. [The issue I see is if we're flying in the daytime, the city will see us miles away incoming (unless there's a large storm to obscure us but then that has it's own turbulence issues to deal with) I'm thinking a late afternoon departure might be best so we can at least see the city with a bit of light left. Then "Owl-Hurk" can fly high above the city in the darkness and land straight down silently and stealthily onto the area the elves point out. OR if that's not a good idea, we fly to within visual distance of the city and walk the rest of the way in.] HurK whispers to the elves, asking their recommendations since they know the lay of the land around the city better, plus the drop zone/building.

They agree that late afternoon should be the best option. Haske adds, "There's some odd things this part of the sands. A weird, warped tower of white. Everyone avoids it. But if we pass it, and line up the ship to the tower directly behind us... that should point us directly to the Stone City."

Haadan would also make known his business goals for Nibenay.
1) Find Weapons cache 2) Find info on Agafari supply (likely a recurring transaction once supply necessities are known) 3) Find info on Bronze supply (seeking a recurring transaction) 4) Covertly revenge the Skysinger twins 5) Network
1: Ready to discuss tactics into the "haunted abandoned" building in corner of Elven Market where weapons were mentioned. Banking on using my Urban Survival and Information Gathering. Can we add to goals: Ask our elf siblings of their NPC class and overall strengths? 2 and 3: Poke the nest of trade, stir up sleepy deadly Shom wasps. My contact Telb can be a good start. I will portion some decent bribe coin for him. 4: Yah, review Yiska and Hashke's tale. 5) Do you plan to network as a rival noble, announcing your house and pedigree? Just saying. Laakh will be entering Stone City in best disguise possible. Subterfuge is the local flavor.

Well, they're obviously traders to some extent. Yishka claims to wield her mother's sword... so maybe warrior as well? The brother is less confrontational, so either he's solo trader or perhaps some other hybrid? He doesn't seem to be a bard, profess fanaticism to an element, like ranging the wilds and they both lack obvious psionic talents.

Bob can you hash out Laakh's best location to find Telb? I mentioned the eastside Merchant Gate since Telb is a merchant/warehouse worker but up to you. Laakh listens intently to the elves. He uses his odd spy moves to tell the group he has heard of a Shom fort not far from the shore we approach.
"Fort Inix. Might be ruins by now, but when I was a kid, you heard stories, best ranchers in that game. We could scope it out, avoid that tower thing, and get a footing on city entry. If it's staffed, they might not expect the likes of us. Or it could be full of those siltfucking bugs..."

[Isn't our city insertion only for the weapon cache? Or are we hanging out doing other 'trader' things? I was under the impression we get the gear and wormhole back to the ship post haste.]
