Khuv calls to Hurk. "Six silvers, if you lick it (the Tower), bird-boy." He jingles a few coins in his fist for effect.

Long post, working on this for a while. Bob, once below deck and settled, do I still feel observed? If yes, mute hand signals etc.
1) We start in the afternoon so we have light to guide me. By nighttime we should be very close. We land a kilometer away and wait until 2am while putting on our disguises.
"I mentioned we would pass by a run down Shom fort: Fort Inix. Only reason to mention is it could give us a way into town with my knowledge of Telb as a merchant involved with livestock. I know time is the essence so unless this proves to be worthy by vote, I'm happy to bypass."
2) We fly in as an owl, the elves guide me to their building and we silently land under the cover of darkness.
"A giant bird with multiple riders lands during prime time into the biggest elven market for miles? Do you WANT to draw attention? How about fly into predetermined spot a few miles out, remote view of best timing and location, then wormhole in. Reverse back here."
3) We begin to search for the weapons while others are lookouts .
With the 2 teams suggested, let's hash out tactics, less free for all each round, combine our strengths, determine reserve PSPs for contingencies.
4) If we have trouble with locals we'll deal with them quickly and QUIETLY. I have a nonlethal power and would hope we can all use the blunt side of our blades to knock out instead of kill. If an alarm is raised we will most likely only have a minute or 2 at most until templars are swarming the area.
"Weapon team will be deep in the elven market, so before templars you will deal with the Sky Singers or whoever runs that quadrant. Fairly sure they're the ones. Bribe $$."
5) If we have or don't have the cashe by then we port back here, regardless.
6) If we get the cashe with NO trouble, we then find an safe inn that the elves maybe can recommend and we look over the stuff and rest up for the next day.
<<<Bob>>> "I might know of a place..." Urban Survival score 18: rolled 9.
7) The traders will search out contacts to speak and feel out a large kank purchase.
"My team will search out Telb for this. His possible locations are all a fair distance from the weapon cache. We use Contact to check in at agreed intervals. If either team compromised, double time to their last location, depending on what we know and what info we can buy from locals."
8) Return to the inn and port back here.
Might also be a good idea to have two teams, one goes with the elves to the cache, the other scopes out the market situation for Agafari/Copper purchases and interest in a regular supply of Trained Kank. Might I suggest Etzli, Haadan and Laakh for the market team and Coden, HurK and Khuv go with Yiska?
"Are these teams balanced? They make sense to me. Each had a cleric and local knowledge and some fighting tricks.. Sounds good." [OOC: did we sell all the booze on board? Leaving Druuso with buncha kegs sound like the way to lose our boat. And Haske is a non-combatant unless he has tricks we don't know.]
We meet at a preordained spot and wormhole back to Lilim.
"As far as flying into the city... I'm sure people try to do it regularly. Whether the templars care or not probably depends on whether they think they can shake you down for money."
What disguises exactly? While you may have the disguise proficiency, what are you doing to obscure your general look?
Barring a purchased 'disguise kit' which I do not have, I was thinking of re-wrapping my dusty travelling robes into a different configuration, even cutting them down for different silhouette. My hair and stubble are grown out some from the close-shaven look he last sported in town. Under the robes, my Nibenese merchant garb, concealable. For the others, he has an extra Balican every day schmoe outfit. Think Jeans Barn vs. Macys. Laakh is typical 1/2 elf size, not a burlyman. Or I can wear the Balic stuff and hand out the Nibenese stuff so everyone has something "loca.l" I could roll Disguise for each PC to help them trade parts of their outfits and accessories, show Druuso how to mix (harmless) pigments from his stash of ingredients to alter someone's skin tone.

(Note that La'yor wasn't listed with either team. It's still kinda hard for my spouse to access the board as it doesn't seem to work with her phone, so she can only check in while using her laptop. For the time being she could stay with the ship contingent.)

The feeling of being watched was relatively brief. Perhaps five minutes worth after sun up.
The booze was sold.
The disguise answer satisfies me. Roll whenever.
Khuv will be frank and tell you he only has one or two wormholes worth of activation. If he fails, this could suck. He also suggests that if you wanted, Hurk could fly him over the location you wanted to arrive and he could then wormhole the rest of you into the city, directly at the Market.
Concerning Etzli, Haadan and Laakh for the market team and Coden, HurK and Khuv go with Yiska? Just let me know if you do wish to split into two teams. Like, get me a second or third agreement in line.

2nd on the teams order.
He also suggests that if you wanted, Hurk could fly him over the location you wanted to arrive and he could then wormhole the rest of you into the city, directly at the Market.
Works for me.
Disguise rolls: score 13 (any bonus for Druuso helping with his ingredients?)
in ABC order:
Coden 5 yep Eztli 15 nope Haadan 13 yep Huurk (if requested) 19 nope Laakh 7 yep Yiska (only if she requests)
Considering the fails: Eztli as a draqoman (dracomyn?) might have better odds blending in as an obvious trader? Huurk might have enough disguise?

OK maybe not prime time but the biggest elven market around in the dead of night will have select clientele about. Quality vs quantity. Bribes or Urban Survival and our silver tongues?

Khuv calls to Hurk. "Six silvers, if you lick it (the Tower), bird-boy." He jingles a few coins in his fist for effect. HurK chuckles nervously “Maybe AFTER we’re done with our pick up” He also suggests that if you wanted, Hurk could fly him over the location you wanted to arrive and he could then wormhole the rest of you into the city, directly at the Market. “This sounds safer. I’ll fly directly above the market and have Yiska point out the safest hidden spot for you to port us in…”

So you fly off. La'yor is with Abez, Haske & Druuso on the deck of the Gambit. [Very smart though. That's a sizable guard.]
Hurk carries the rest as you soar off to the west - and further north to avoid the albino tower. After a bit the sands turn to salt bordered by scrub.
Around three or four in the afternoon you see evidence of the fort Laahk mentioned. While big and well built, it looks practically abandoned, the light path leading to it hardly much of a road at at all... at least from this height. Small figures are seen moving lazily about the midday sun. It's nestled atop some foothills leading into a small mountain range. Laahk would know that gith are plentiful in those peaks.
But that at least gives you a road to follow as you fly.
The wind whips towards you and Hurk has some trouble as he's not used to such extended flight. The ground gives to scrub and the very, very outskirts of Nibenay's extended fields are seen. Herds of kank, crodlu are being ranged here. You stop at least once away from any apparent threat to rest, stretch and readjust. And to eat and take care of nature's business. You take flight again and soon the green of the forest tops is seen from this height, as well as the large hot springs that border the southern edge of the stone city. Behind that, haunted peaks. Even further into the forest somewhere, Gulg.
Night is beginning to fall as you arrive, but both moons are rather bright. For those of you that have never been, Nibenay looms eternal. A dark, petrified decadent city of ancient design. Carvings are everywhere, usually depicting a beast, monster or boogeyman. Common belief is that a residence will be let alone by such adversaries if they are properly humbled by their depiction in the rock. Very little it seems with bother Nibenay then. Even outside the shadowy walls, faint sounds of music can be heard this time of day/evening.
It is starting to get dark.

EagleHurK will scan and search for a small rock rock outcropping no larger than 15'-20' high to land behind several miles away from the stone city. His intent is to (while hidden) rest, eat, meditate (and be in a good defendable position if needed) until 2am. Upon landing he will turn back into naked half giant boy and exclaims "WHEW! Wish you guys could do that too, letting the thermal up drafts lift you up is an AMAZING feeling! Like I was floating! Anyway I need to rest as it wasn't ALL gliding. Can you guys take some watches while I recover?" he asks exhaustedly HurK goes and lays his pack against a stone, leans against it and exhales deeply as he closes his eyes in lotus position [Rejuvenation skill 19, rolled 4, success. Bob let me know how many hours he was able to rest and rejuvenate AND how many turns it took him to fly here from the Gambit.] The group is definitely getting used to seeing their twelve foot tall mammothly muscled butt naked giant in the group, lol.

OOC: We did bring a bag of no less than 50 SP for bribes etc. Sorry if it was not stated. Beyond crucial for our success. Divvy up so we all have a few. Then split up 2 portions say 20 each for each team lead? Weapon leader: Yiska, Trade leader: me. Happy to discuss this OOC.
Laakh will use this time to disguise the team and self, and remind everyone to coordinate a Plan before we all pop in. "Unlike Balic, Nibenay takes its security seriously. (He describes his templar enemy Nisha, Head of Gates -and her infamous weapon, an impossibly fast shortsword. "And when a templar gains rank, they are assigned a cilops. long crawly tracker psion bug. They bite hard..." He will try Rejuvenate until his 2nd watch.
Bob: How much time till 2nd watch?
What is result of my successful Urban Survival roll for an inn we can hide out in overnight?

(I had originally listed her among the market crew since she is a ranger and we'll be discussing moderately sized, regular sales of Trained livestock. I deleted her from the list though since I wasn't sure of her participation and in the thought that we need Lilim defended.)
