Approximately 3+ months ago leave on the silt ship, The Tyrian Gambit out of Balic in order to clear giants from Ledo Isle near North and South Ledopolus.
Discover that the giants are pretty cool and just really hate dwarves.
The party attacks a trio of silt skimmers that belong to House Tsalaxa.
They eventually sell said skimmers, meet Berg'mench of Ledo Isle (a druid of no small power).
Deal made to replace the trade that Tsalaxa did with flint and in turn replaces it with House Wavir and the Rokos family in Balic.
Travel to South Ledopolus. There's a refugee issue and the Capt. and some crew are arrested in port. A rescue attempt discovers a nest of psurlon deep under the town.
In attempt to warn someone in power of the threat, the group eventually makes it to Balic and back to the Cerebran (the college of psions). They are directed to send a gift to Shardivan of North Ledopolus. He takes them very seriously. The party is told that until he finds his strength once again, to secure weapons that can affect the worm-like threat.
The party decides to listen to the elves of the Gambit, now restored to full speech (their tongues had been cut out). They had told of a cache of weapons they left hidden in Nibenay during the event that caused their tongues to be eaten and family members to be murdered.
Party travels closer to Nibenay, Hurk then flies the group past the Pristine Tower on the way to Nibenay.
Weapons are found. Dream (phase) spiders guard the loot. Haadan dies.
An area that was closed off is bypassed psionically. Sewer discovered. Odd door with a warning and an impassable room found.
Party enters room. Takes tablets and two obsidian urns. Victory joins party, chased by two templaresses riding cilops. Party retreats.
Hiding until things die down, dream spider silk is used to hide the items and urns from detection (something they learned from the elves).
Oh shit. They really effed up. Dhojakt, Son of Nibenay and a small contingent of half giants start scouring the area, the urns were hid by Nibenay himself and the templars had reported the disturbance promptly.
Party escapes. Plans a trip to Altaruk, they believe that they can get items identified there.
Time passes in Altaruk, Hurk commissions a giant bone blade to be made. Items get identified. Contacts made. Victory fights in the games.
The party talks to the wrong people. The Shadowking's son begins to travel to Altaruk. Mak communes with the urns and begins a fruit tree patch. Hurk clears much stone and the party repairs an old irrigation well/sluice. Refugees tapped to tend the earth... has farming begun again? The urns contain two dark spirits of the Obsidian Plain.
Party runs from Nibenay's son. Back to Ledo Isle. Stone Boat discovered and the odd navigation stone.
Party unleashes the spirits upon the psurlon of South Ledopolus. Yes, some of the psurlon are removed from the realm of the living. But at what cost? Dwarves slaughtered all about the town. Massacre.
Well, back to Balic!
The Cerebran is unhappy. Shardivan has heard of the slaughter. Talk is made about turning the party in. Instead, Shardivan thinks he has a solution. He has rumors spread by contacts that blame Borys/the Dragon on the theft of the urns after learning some tidbits from the party.
Coden has relatives killed in Balic. Investigations are made. Eventually, it is discovered his childhood friend/templar had them killed... to help benefit Coden. He is unhappy and can't blame the friend, but wishes that it had been run by him first. Oh, and the party abducts the wrong templar and gates him to under South Ledopolus.
Party reconvenes at Ledo Isle. Pallia joins party. Berg'mench reveals the presence of a portal to the elemental plane of water and it's ancient drake guardian in the underground water hidden under South Ledopolus - once blocked by psurlons. We know why the dwarves are building a bridge over the silt now - the brackish, saline water is guarded, impassable and non-potable.
Party decides to check ruins for more weapons, loot and to hide from the cities. War is said to be brewing. Balic, Nibenay and Urik are said to be advancing on Tyr, now without Kalak and occupied by the servants of Ebe. The ruins they want to check? North coast of the estuary.
A dream spider caught in an ethereal storm deposits Kri-kcht the thri-kreen onto the Gambit as it focuses on the spider silk the party still carries. It speaks and leaves.
Party ends up in Samarah due to wind, proximity to ruins. Shammu the half elf awaits. A rampager is let loose upon the gorak herding town. Enter Kemintiri the Gladiator.
Hurk throws a stunned rampager into the silt. Mak single handedly keeps a member of the Order at bay until her friend gates her far away.
Shardivan is contacted. He reveals that the party is in danger, suggests they travel to a place where psions and wizards can't simply travel to. Bodach.
The party moves the Gambit to the inland silt pocket and begins to investigate the bizarre cursed city of towers.
As a note, Laahk has been instrumental in a lot of the planning and proper paranoia needed.
