HurK sighs heavily while rubbing his brow "These three... Will they be kept safe from ALL harm, fed decent meals and given comfortable sleeping accommodations?"

"They will be safe. As far as meals and sleep? You need not worry."
The other two nod again in sync.

Mak just looks down at his lap and shakes his head. He takes a moment to rub his temples. He lifts his voice loud enough for the undead to hear but not so loud that he appears to be shouting at them.
"Bodach is the first society I have found where it is permissible to board a vessel without receiving permission first."
Mak stands and motions to the ground nearby. "Please come and sit and we will speak of your offer."
Turning to the Thri-Kreen he says, "Go fetch me many small stones of approximately the same size. Twenty or more and be quick about it", Mak holds up a thumb and forefinger to show size of about and inch to an inch and a half.
Mak will dust off a flat patch of earth and sit down. When the stones arrive he will start laying them out to his left side, one small stone for each of them from the Gambit. "Each stone represents one of my company that are gathered here.", he continues to lay down an additional 5 stones "These additional stones represent the increase in our collective power we have gained through working together."
Mak then uses his empty right hand, palm up toward the empty ground to the right of the stones. "This area represents the power of Wyan along with the Necromancer that carries him. I would estimate that given the element of surprise our current full strength would barely be a match... maybe 30-40% chance of success. Tell me, adding Wyan's power to this estimate how many stones would you value their side at?"
As Mak listens to their answer his left hand moves 3 stones representing crew from the left into the center of the dirt area, then moves 2 more stones representing collective power down towards the stack of remaining unused stones.
((Mak is going to have those from Bodach walk through the logic of the quest to kill Wyan. Force them to acknowledge the deficit and get them to provide weapons and power to us, which was the original spoken intent of the group coming here in the first place.))

"The loss of three of our number will SIGNIFICANTLY reduce our ability to bring Wyan back. Surely you see that. Can we not simply agree to a (psionicly) binding oath?
"Would you rather host 3 of our number for a lifetime or enjoy successful revenge/ justice on your betrayer? "

"You understand the Betrayer of Bodach's strength or you surely wouldn't be hunting him in the first place. You have also held Odrela at bay. This is the first time in centuries that she's felt a challenge, right dear?"
She turns to regard the Speaker.
"I have fought giants before, that wished to make our land home. Six in one day I humbled them and sent them hamstrung crawling for mercy. I have never before lost my blade in battle...," She turns to your party. "...you may keep it as a reminder of the promise to return."
Khuv pipes up and raps Drusso on the hip. The two look at each other... it seems like there might be mischief in their eyes.
"We will stay." He (Khuv) turns and winks at Mak and Hurk away from the undead stares. Haske looks at the two and adds, "Me three."
Yiska begins signing furiously at her brother, who calmly signs two motions.
Her eyes widen.
In elven she nods and states, "It is decided then? I guess I'll have to save your arse again?" She spits off the side of the deck as her hand fidgets with her bone blade's hilt.

[Psionic lore 19, rolled 11 to see if HurK has heard of and/or recognizes those 3 black orbs as some kind of obsidian psi soul prison]

What fool sets out to sea with a boat already full of fish? No, the boat is empty and the fish are yet to be caught. If you are to keep three of our combatants then we require of you that which we came to find. A single metal blade hard won in combat does not fulfill this need.""You have stated your terms, we have stated ours. Come, let us find an accord so that we may return successfully and celebrate victory together.""See, we have already settled the matter amongst ourselves and did not require a whole day to do so. Equip us to do the will of Bodach."

Laakh will Mindlink to Mak:
<Ask them what the blade can do. And Khuv has the magic dagger, a halfling's thing, yah, but the only enchanted one I can use. Bargaining tool?>

- Kementiri is greatly surprised with the sociability of this undead - 'I never thought something like that before, it is really incredible...' - Whilst looking to the scene. At that point she gets closer to the caster in our party - Let him parley, Mak is the speaker from our side. Please, no offence, but we donĀ“t want them to misunderstand our words - And looks him with a sincere smile

At this, Kleys glances from Kementiri to Hurk and back again. "Of course, I wouldn't want to endanger the mission." He says with a wide grin. "Excuse me." He moved to stand closer to Laakh for a better view.

- Kem moves back alongside Kleys and Laakh - I'm also included in my own words - And nods sincerely to the elf

Kelys glances over at Kementiri for a moment, then grins "Perhaps you could do me a favor: if I instruct you in the ways of teaching others, would you refresh my memories of herb-lore?"
(OoC: leaving space here for DM-Bob to link in his new NWP training rules we discussed the other day)

"Ah, my mistake. Perhaps you have other skills you can teach me."
Kleys will make a similar offer to the others (especially Kri-kcht - and Mak, eventually). (OoC: should be able to teach the whole group a single skill at the same time, right?)

- That's ok - Replies with a smile - I could teach you the arts of dancing, camouflage, weapon creation from raw materials or survival in stony isolated environments. I also know some combat skills if you are interested in the matter - And a feeling of proudness crosses Kem's mind thinking in the words that the Speaker made about she never lost her weapon in battle
