[After reading it, I'm surprised the writers didn't name the Auditor kit as PROBER, lol. Unless Mak or Pallia have a similar acting spell, Kri-kcht will have to guide us]

Pallia shields her eyes and likewise looks to the sky. Her solar blessings mean that she can easily see in spite of any glare from the red sun, scanning the open skies for other travelers like HurK does.

I mean, there might be another one (powers that can see his thoughts proper). Probe was first to come to mind.
Pallia is pretty sure they're a duo of cloud rays. Used to staring into the light beyond the others, they lack angular features (common to wyvern).
But if you put two and two together, you're sure you're west... very much west of that point. This can be delved by anything the nikaal have stated as well as Mak's understanding of his guarded lands.
As far as trade? The two silver can definitely gain Laahk his wares.

Mak winks to Hurk and hands over the two stones to the Nikaal. "Good trade. Thank you friends. You are welcome to this oasis so long as you do not despoil the land and drive off any who do, like those accursed insect mutants."
"I suggest we camp here in safety for the night before moving north east to the edge of the desert."
Walking over to his Thri-Kreen friend he asks, "I have magic that can read your thoughts. Perhaps if you focus on your experiences in these northern areas, I can know them as you know them? What do you think?
((Bob, considering using Mind Read [Lv 2, ToM] to view the thoughts of the Kreen without the psionic issues. Spell works on any creature.))

Mak can also make more orbs with his prayers.
Unless there's anything specific to ask the nikaal? They're content to shuffle off west and leave you to camp (assuming that you want to rest).
The mandible that Kri-kcht gifted? Hanging proudly above a firepit somewhere the nikaal frequent when they aren't fully wandering. There's a good chance that's nearby. Mak knows of a few ancient rock dwellings about these badlands that have sheltered wanderers, hermits and vagabonds on occasion. But the blue scaled lizard folk are a secretive sort... assuming they lay eggs like most lizard lizards? They don't generally trust to tell everyone they meet where that'd be.
Also, during these deliberations? Laahk feels watched.
Tell me if you wish to react.

Mak probes the kreen's memories.
There's a lot to unpack. You get visions of fighting megapedes among a group of other travelers, companions. An older man in red leather armor. A pair of goliaths, one male the other female. A bird-man. A warrior and wagoneer. A weird little bug-man. Flashes of chasing off a gigantic cistern fiend. Befriending the nikaal in the mud about the oasis. Learning of another oasis to the north.
Traveling to the hidden oasis. Hunting the defiler. You get a good look at the kreen's memory. He has met the man before in Tyr... Dote Mal Payne they hunt. Evidence of defiling in the scrub as they track the man and his retinue.
A giant crater in the badlands, new. The defiler has taken whatever they searched for there. Moving on.
Fighting bug-men at the oasis. The water being tainted by it's ichor. Having to move on. Eventually getting ambushed by raiders as they reach the Screaming Wastes and white, glowing sands.
Befriending the raiders. Traveling to Spoil. Digging a well and learning of their leader, Densis had moved up north to show their prey, Dote Mal, the ruins of the Buried City. Densis? There was increasing proof that he may have been dominated mentally... if so? The raiders wanted him and their friends back.
His friends rode the wind carts and he trailed behind.
They made it to the dead ruins. A gigantic creeper vine nearly killed his goliath friends. They wandered the ruins.
Oddly? It gets fuzzy here. Something blocks the thoughts past doors and odd underground stone passageways.
Then there's only hazy memory of leaving retracing their steps south and eventually to Urik.

During the mind probing, the kreen's eyes become dull...
Afterwards he looks normal again.

- Before the nikaal tribe leave, Kem gets closer to Chu-te - I wasn't part of the trading talk but as a gesture of good will and luck from us, I would like to give you these - Kem retrieves from her backpack 2 bone carved figurines representing an erdlu and a lizard. These are not perfectly carved but to the best of her abilities - Shall the sands guide your steps with the blessings of the winds until we met once again - She says to the nikaal leader

Bob, once the nikaal are gone for 2-3 hours and we've secured camp, HurK is going to take flight and do some aerial recon and test the winds. He'll invite 2 riders to recon with him before he changes into his 36' great eagle and takes off into the wind to get lift like a plane.
