"WHAT is this foci distance we need be keep inside or -what exactly happens?
...Once we use the banner, I will be a target. Someone stay close if I am banished or disintegrated so you can grab it. Any wild talents come into play, use them hard. I can Clairvoyance a preview, once we get closer...
And if we can find us some cilops, as I said, I can have complete control of them, to help with our escape. What other tactics am I missing?"

Listening to the ideas so far "How do you plan to have the defilers leave the tower for us to attack them out in the open? Is a stampede supposed to bring them all out? And do we have any means to stop them from teleporting away once the fight is in full swing?" asks HurK

Mak nods to Kleys. "Agreed to both. Good plan Kleys."
To Laakh, "The Foci is the tower ruins they are casting spells in. We will assault them violently with the hopes of killing them or driving them out into the lands surrounding the tower. The Spirit of the Land will wreck vengeance on them if they step out of the tower. Clairvoyance appreciated, though I doubt we will find any Cilops in this lush terrain."
To Hurk, "I've got a spell that can anchor them from teleporting, it's not a sure thing and it uses some of my most potent magic, so I will only target Dote Mal Paine with it. I care not if Densis escapes, he's a smaller player and we can find him at his village if he runs."

"The fireball will be good, the summoned locust swarms will be the clencher, hopefully." HurK says to Pallia

Plans are a good thing. But the best laid plans of mice and men, eh?
There is a cool breeze. The foliage seems to part leading towards the ruin. Heck, the earth seems to dry a bit, mud easing to the sides of a now apparent path. The noise of animals, insects and the like? Fade, as if wanting nothing to do with your ensemble.
As you advance, you begin to take in how rare this land is. Mud. Grasses. LIFE. There is almost a pulse to it, a heartbeat or throb of blood in the vein. It takes a solid half hour of marching before you can seen the base of the massive white edifice you have only regarded at a distance.
The bottom of the structure contains a pillared building. Smooth columns. It reminds you of an obelisks' base less than a tower. The whole area is choked with vines and bramble. While parts seem to shy away from you? You feel that both the land and the oddity before you are tied in a way. There is a thrum of power, low, but continually present... almost alien. In real world terms? Much like living too close to sizable powerlines. A general thrum of untapped power; resources.
Beyond the vine strangled columns and the hardly visible steps leading to their level, there appears to be an opening or entrance.
The thrum of power gets louder now with each step. Faint chanting may be heard...
Or simply imagined.

As they continue forward, the half giant pulls energy from his nexus into her vison to scan the building, vines and opening and also attempting to see the vibrations of the future... "Hmm. Almost like... a hint of a different time, a different place."
Pallia posts the staff and takes in the unusual scents from the grasses and the humidity.
"Clearly a place of power, and in use."

Once within proximity to the entrance, Mak will encant a basic protection spell over himself. He'll also draw Odrela's summoning orb from his bag. "As soon as we make contact, I'm going to loose her on them."
((Mak casts Protection from Evil, 27 round duration.))

The whole area radiates magic like you've never, ever seen in your lifetime. It makes what you carry seem like a drop in the metaphysical bucket.
Laahk sees a vine choked main chamber. The ceiling is tall. A gigantic orrery (cosmic-type model) is suspended some thirty feet up in the air. You see a globe, what looks like the Sun and the twin moons attached among other smaller balls and devices. Dozens of white bars jut inside of each sphere. Much of the rest like Kleys saw in the crystal ball over Aman's shoulder. Two darkly clothed figures hold white, stone batons or short staves in each hand. The room is surrounded by standing corpses - twenty three to be exact as well as stairs hidden about the walls reaching up to the heights of the monolith. They hold to the edge of the room and are mostly mul, human and elf in composure (and degrees of decomposure).
They all stand around a large reptilian body... with two strange, shrunken leathery heads sewn onto the neck. It moves. The heads thrash and complain loudly. The two dark figures are tired looking and have burnt marks upon their sleeves reaching up to their elbows.
The chamber itself is about a hundred feet or so in diameter. There may or may not be additional points of egress, as the room is a mess and the ceiling goes beyond the orrery. Whatever chain holding it vanishes beyond your view.

Laakh relays this as he tucks away the skull. Unfurls the pennon of Bodach and grips it with his life.
"Shall we?"

He unties himself from the group as well, holding the slack out for others. As the others untie themselves from the hulking psion, she quietly pulls out 2 cheese wheels and stuff them inside her mouth's cheeks, like a chipmunk, but doesn't swallow yet. HurK then pulls out her massive bone blade and concentrates on her hand and the weapons grip... [Graft Weapon 16, rolled 3 Power Manipulation 17, rolled 14 -31 PsP's]
