Zeekir follows along and peers at the newcomer.
He shrugs, noting the ruins and parched lands around them as if to say 'what can ya do?'
OOC: Any runes, writing, or sigils adorning this guy?

There are an assortment of examples of ancient heraldry crisscrossing the heavy armor.
He shakes his fist in the air, howling angrily. "No, of course not! The world was once a few, lush islands bobbing in a great sea of pure water! I battled to restore it to such! What is this travesty I see before me?!"

Bharnag just shakes his head, considering the undead figure to be insane.
"Islands floating in water? We'll that's certainly a new one. I've heard the elves tell tales of verdant green forests covering Athas but that's just wild fantasy. I will say this, never in all my years as a dearf have I seen as much iron as what I see in this city. You must have been a great warlord to be fully clad in iron, that suit of armor could buy 3 whole armies of mercenaries."
To punctuate his last statement, Bharnag shows his own gear, armor made of hides, weapons made of bone and wood.
"The wasteland you now witness is all anyone knows or even remembers, save for a few like yourself and great Nibenay."

"I've heard elemental priests rant of whole forests of trees and great bodies of standing water - pure and glittering; but they are known madmen and the templars soon take them away for spreading 'lies'."
"They also speak of defilers ravaging the world with their magics - draining the it's vitality to power their spells."
"If true, how it could have happen and who could have invented such a power, I shudder to imagine."
"I too have never seen this (gestures to his armor) much metal in my life, much less in one place."

- "Which symbol is that you have on display in your shiny armor?" - Looking at the warlord plate - "You know Gallard for your words but, which city are you from? Tyr? Balic?.. And speaking about beliefs, may I ask which is yours? Which Sorcerer-king do you worship?" - with a really hint of curiosity, as the talk goes many moons back in time

The figure eyes the hide, bone, and stone equipment incredulously. "Wh--? What is this? Steel is not some...rarity! It lies beneath the earth in great troves! Any fool can afford a steel sword! Suits of armor like this are quite expensive, but affordable enough after a few successful battles. What could possibly force a warrior to settle for arms and armor made of this tripe? By your stance, you are a formidable soldier--by your dress, a common barbarian. Were I not well able to identify warriors, I would assume you some worthless rabble."
Notably, the setting sun seems to have a strange effect on the armored figure. Waves of heat begin to radiate off of the thick metal armor--the others in the party, while near to him, can feel the figure's temperature rapidly rising. It must be two hundred degrees in that suit! No living man could fight in this under light of day for more than a few minutes without dying of heatstroke.
"What is this drivel about Sorcerer-Kings? I am aware of none. I have, of course, seen Mage-Lords, if that happens to be what you speak of. My insignia denote me as a member of the Warbringer's many legions. It is our sworn duty to annihilate those races that must be purged if the world is to be returned to its pure state. At least, it was. Gallard, should he still live, knows this. How long has it been? What is this wasteland I see? If Gallard has not fallen, he should have spent all this time working to finish the Warbringer's mission! Athas should be a land of greens and blues, not this damnable sand!"
He angrily kicks at the grains beneath his feet, sending a swath of sand flying up into the air.
"I come from the city called Kurn, and my name is Irikos. If my memory does not fail me, my homeland is far north of this blasted place. It is due for its own cleansing very soon."

(Eyebrow raise) "Great One, a steel sword will beggar a kingdom today. You must have come from a time of great plenty, if not some other world altogether."
"The Sorcerer Kings are great immortal wizards and masters of the Way: Kalak, Galland/Nibenay, Hamanu among others. They rule the city states - the last greast bastions of 'civilization', such as it is, in the Tablelands. There ARE no cities far to the north of here - not anymore."
"And, if you think the sand is bad, you should see the ocean of powdery silt that lie to the east - it gets EVERYWHERE."

"Ocean of silt?"
The figure seems to do a double-take.
"Silt? What on Athas is silt?"

- "Metal of any kind is a luxury that not many can afford, and besides that, with this heat anyone could be burned alive inside an armor like yours. Even a garden is a delicacy that many noble people can enjoy within the City-states ruled by those that you mentioned, some succeded in their endeavour, others no" - Looking at him

"Ocean of silt?" The figure seems to do a double-take. " Silt? What on Athas is silt?" "It's a light powder that blows and drifts with the wind, but settles into crevices and gullies. It'll smother you if you breathe it and it lies all along the coastline for as far as the eye can see."

He glances between the two incredulously. The Templars watch him carefully from the windows.
"You...you must be fooling with me, right? You don't mean to tell me the ocean is gone?"
His tone is similar to what might be used to suggest that Inix could fly.

"No, surely you just with us - nealy free metal? The ocean is not gone, it is composed of the same terrible powder it always was. What else could have filled the oceans?"

Irikos coughs hoarsely.
"This is madness. Who made the world this way? Was it the blasted Druids?! Were the armies of the Warbringer defeated? I do not see how else this could be possible, but it all seemed so bright when I gathered my host and marched on this city. The armies of the lesser races were being crushed left and right, and several were already extinct. Our victory seemed assured, and we believed wholeheartedly that the restoration of Athas was right around the corner. Now you tell me that the planet is a barren wasteland with an ocean of POWDER?!"
The Warlord clutches his helmet and shakes his head.
"This can't be true! The Warbringer promised endless blue oceans and islands covered in vibrant jungles, like the Halflings of old lived in!"

"Such a world is a tale for children and fools where I come from - a wonderous dream.
Druids are warriors of the wastelands - cutting down defilers before they further scorch the land and fighting against the Sorcerer Kings and their lackies.
If druids were once your enemies, and now fight against the ravaging of the world, does that mean your side WON somehow? Is this what that looks like?"

- "You are free to see... And if metal was so cheap to get and with this heat, don't you think we would at least have metal weapons?" - raising an eyebrow to Irikos - "We never saw anything other than this barren landscapes" - turning around and looking up at Rimir - "You were free by Nibenay, and druids are mad worshippers not saviours, don't be mistaken!" - with a serious look to him
