Like a moth to a flame, Chat'cho's attention is drawn to the Templar. As if spellbound, the Thri-Kreen wanders closer to the resplendent bird, chittering softly and waving her vestigial antennae. Her four arms sway gently, as if she's resisting the urge to reach out and touch the beautiful feathers. "*retty..." "You are ever the observant one my old friend or do you just know how far flattery can get you with a Tyrospur?" She squints briefly before letting out an exuberant trill "Oh, who am I kidding? You're the most observant among us assuredly!". Ande looks _very_ pleased to bask in Chat'cho's adulation.

- "Ande.. Nice meeting you" - Eslyk smile to her, as she scratches her shoulder like if something is annoying her, just for a short moment then turns to HurK - "You are big! Ummm.."- her eyes move from HurK to the half eaten erdlu the Half-giant is chewing, and viceversa - "Meat..."The female Halfling looks the others, but her eyes return to where HurK is after looking at Chat'cho "I AM!" He chuckles "And you are... small!!!" The hulking psion leans down and offers a drum stick as big as the halfling to her with a smile. - The small Halfling looks around when the word 'templar' sails the air, like a wary song, then turns to the gigantic HurK and open her arms to hold the piece of meat that she is given. Eslyk holds it, then she stops for a second and closes eyes, which open eventually.
The noise of her chewing and eating flips from quietly to as sounding as Hurk's in cyclical patterns, at least to start with. Perhaps savage Halfling manners? Surely not civilised ones, neither those of eating pleasure that HurK shows up..
She smiles at HurK and keeps eating, the sound of her mandibles muffled all along until the end of it. Her eyes look along the tables with food, checking other cooked meats, although she gets closer to have some fruits, if any

Watching the halfling tear into the seasoned meat with an approving nod and smile, HurK turns to the Balican human. "Glad we're back together again man. Can't believe those Tsalaxian cunts grabbed you. Actually I can, but that's what choo get when I'm not watching yo' back, 'lil brother..." he says in his deep voice as he waves his bare erdlu bone in one hand at Coden like a school teacher waving a ruler disapprovingly

The Balician man puts down his wine goblet momentarily with a frown and says, "They must've had some insider knowledge, either from a spy, or from their own seers. I should've been better about concealing my movements."
"Regardless, it all played out for the best. I suppose they didn't expect me to actually know how to fight."

Chat'cho doesn't seem much interested in the prospect of eating or drinking here, no matter how good the food is. She simply circles the Templar, waggling her mandibles and knitting her fingers pleasantly.
"I do not grow weary at this sight."
She leans back and forth, shifting her considerable weight from one foot to the other. At points, her large abdomen presses against the floor, sliding against it and producing a soft brushing sound. Chat'cho is content to watch the other dra amuse themselves how they like, as she doesn't really understand what they do for fun.

- Turning to Coden and in a less silly tone - "Did you really check that those Tsalaxians that were holding you, did not follow you as soon as you freed yourself, in one way or another?" - looking at everyone, as her stomach has been saciated, then back at him

Though swelled with pride and contentment at the adulation of her old kreen friend, Ande sighs and reluctantly addresses Chatcho <In Kreen: "I know you are shy around new creatures but Oronis is depending on the success of this Caravan assembly, there'll be plenty of time to stroke my ego later. I assure you that these creatures are more than worth your time and attention, _these_ are the ones I have been keeping an eye on--"> As she hears the conversation shift to Tsalaxa and the capture of Coden she approaches regally, with her wings folded close. "The Tsalaxans were fools to underestimate Master Rokos, fools ever the more if they followed him here. Trust you all are safe here in Kurn" she says with a curtsey (as much as a bird can curtsey).

"No way to be absolutely sure," replies the Balician to the query about Tsalaxa. "I had to leave in a bit of a hurry. Tsalaxa has significant resources at its disposal, so if they wanted to track me, they could probably do it with psychic power, but the question is whether it's worth it to them."

The Large psiologist sneers “If there’s one thing we’ve learned, NO WHERE is safe. We’ve made some powerful enemies. If they want me and Coden bad enough, they’re coming for us…” He says staring down at his empty plate in deep thought. "No way to be absolutely sure," replies the Balician to the query about Tsalaxa. "I had to leave in a bit of a hurry. OOC: You have come to learn how different Kurn is over time. Hurk and Niachi have been here for probably the better part of a year. Coden can have been here for up to a month or as little as a couple of weeks.
The population of New Kurn is still small in comparison to most City-States... even Hurk & Niachi are regarded as new-comers. Attention is given; delayed trust is eventually built. One of the reasons they'd done work with the Black Lances and the Tribunal is that they not only had a stellar reference in Shardivan, but have shared meals, music and spilt the blood of those who would threaten these freedoms. The others can have been friends for any period of time you've been around, this doesn't need to be the first time you've met.

OOC: I have some friends coming over late tonight. I'll post a long one early tomorrow. Feel free to muse amongst yourselves. The defiler Coden killed can be the one you previously encountered from House Tsalaxa... many moons ago.

Though, I know that were it just to carry a bauble or trinket, he wouldn't have had us called together and I'd already be halfway there" Ande smiles as though remembering numerous successful deliveries. "Perhaps our friends from the south have secret knowledge even they are unaware of? Perhaps we-- well? Perhaps, we can only wait for Oronis to tell us?"
