- Eslyk look at the fruit mesmerised - "Ohhh..." - in utterly admiration, like if watching a miracle for a short period of time - "There is always time to tame, but reasoning with this surely will make it easier"
The brunette Halfling looks then around to the presents, trying not to be very obvious, to those closer to Ulali - 'I've seen too many beasts..'- thinking to herself, as she looks for a change in their facial expressions, like if a hurted wild animal is scared or wary to show their fangs but still remains to behave like a tamed one

The psion squints down at the small Golden pear then slams his open palm down on the table with a deep low bellow of a laugh. In between wiping away tears of hearty jovial laughter he spits out "We're a pricey fruit cart team now!"After calming down a bit to light chuckles he nods to the speaker "Aye a grand gesture indeed Lady Ulali, to extend one's life is no small gift... I just hope it doesn't rot by the time we get there..." he laughs some more. Ande sniffs the air before remarking " Sadly, it doesn't smell anywhere near fermented, but it is of a most glorious sheen! I see also now why we are needed..."

"Yes, Master Coden of Balic. The long game indeed. The kreen are smart, scrying upon their cities make ours look frail in comparison. But they are beset with other problems that we cannot easily see. Have you heard of the Dead Lands to the far, far south?"

Ulali cocks her head at the half giant's answer.
"Most have not heard of the Plain of Glass and believe it to be nothing but fable. What do you know and how do you know it?"

Ulali cocks her head at the half giant's answer. "Most have not heard of the Plain of Glass and believe it to be nothing but fable. What do you know and how do you know it?" The large psion lets out a long sigh then begins "So..."[Ooc Bob, because I don't have access to my undead notes anymore, I'm hoping you'll allow HurK to still remember all his memories of your past adventures. If so he'll talk about the 2 warriors that helped them kill the Psurlons under the dwarven silt city (but NOT include that we freed them). He'll also name drop all the entities we learned of and their history of the southern Dead lands to include Bodach, the undead City to the North we camped out at for a week and became semi-members of the city.]

[Here I pause to see if Coden or Niachi wish to add anything. Especially if Nibenay is brought up.]

The Balician takes on a more thoughtful gaze and his eyes narrow and he says, "You're making long-range moves for the security of Kurn. You think that the Dead Lands represent an active existential threat? Certainly there are... thinking entities there, but with expansionistic goals that could cause problems down the road?"

She summons a scribe who begins to take notes before conversation goes any further.
"We knew of undead bugs that were plaguing the borders of the Kreen Empire. It seems you know much more than I do... I am uncertain how much Oronis knows. Have I, we, been kept in the dark? Are you sure that these undead are organized? Expansionistic goals?"
She breathes out deeply.
"I was told that the Empire would not want to fight a war on two fronts. Originally I thought that just meant a mindless curse... not that Oronis corrected my assumptions. Do you have any proof of this?"

- Eslyk looks at both as the conversation goes in a two-way direction, learning new facts, completely alien to her current knowledge

(OOC: Bob, after a year of working with Kurn’s forces, would Niachi currently have reason to hide his arcane background? Or is there acceptance to his methods?)

As long as he's not defiling, reads a non-evil alignment on detection magics and isn't directly lying to those that can tell either magically or psionically... he's already passed tests he might not have been aware of. So he may open cast. The Presider is a known preserver.

Do you have any proof of this?" "I do..." HurK nervously looks at Coden as he pulls out a blanket wrapped bundle from his massive pack. "FORMER property of Gallard himself..."
He carefully unwraps the blanket to show a white spider silk wrapped bundle before he cautiously moves it in front of her. "Phase spider silk: makes it EXTREMELY difficult to track whatever's wrapped within. And what is within are stone tablets that piece one hell of a story..."
HurK explains the writings on each tablet (without unwrapping them) to include the one that is a bonafide permanent spell scroll.

All of Nibenay's trackable items were removed/given to Mak to destroy or bury and the dream spider silk you'd previously used has been fallen to bits. Someday, having a person weave said silk into an item could prevent such loss.
