Eslyk notices a pair of large claw marks in the soil. She can tell this is a bat print, a mobat in particular. That's odd. You've never heard of them napping or resting in an open field before - especially if this happened during the evening, when they are the most active. The absence of blood makes you doubt it was wounded either.

- "Mmmm.. That's odd... Mobat tracks at this time of the day?" - thinks for a moment before the halfling turns to HurK, Niachi and the rest pointing at the tracks - "Mobat tracks here but these should not at this time of the day.. Like if these were napping or resting.. And not even marks of been wounded!" - as she taps her cheek with her fingers - "Mmmm.." - as if her thoughts about it would be swirling as most of her hair is right now
[OOC: I succeed in an Animal Lore roll, 13 out of 13, in case I can gather any other information]

"Probably a scout's mount from another city state. They flew here, landed for a rest then headed out towards the Almond or more scouting before we 'ported in?" HurK says

“Can we continue?” Quila asks, looking at the others that were inspecting the grassy depression, when her eyes fall on Eslyk scampering about and looking intentionally at some particular spots of the depression. “Do tell, Eslyk, what are you looking at? See anything we have not seen?” Quila queries the small wild woman.

- "Not sure but if it was the case, why there wasn't any other tracks? As to dismount and make the tracking easier for the scout.." - replying to HurK, then she turns to Quila - "I found Mobat tracks, and these are odd at this time of the day in an open field, like if these were napping or resting, I never crossed this before"
[OOC: How many pairs of tracks? Can these be used as mounts? If so, which kind of creature would? I mean, human size, halfling size..]

"MMMmmm good point. Maybe someone with Metamorphosis or Polymorph then? Either way, we'll keep an eye out for this big Bat in the future..."

So you carry on.
After a solid hour of riding, you eventually meet with your other two compatriots. On the way you pass a few kreen that give you a wide berth, some of the wingless Jalath’gak slowly hauling materials and goods to the amber domed city of Nirik.
OOC: Feel free to catch up in character, I have a few chores to knock out. -Bob

- "Tracks went in this same direction, west, but I'm still puzzled about why a flying creature has the need to walk..." - she talks with the others around, trying to set her hair down into something less wild at the same time - "Perhaps the Tor-kreen will have some answers that I can't provide"

As the team regroups, HurK eyeballs the buildings and nearby kreen for any signs of the Way and Arcane magic

As soon as Ande notices the rest of the party, she will strafe past Chat'cho and announce that the party has arrived before swooping down to land behind the pear tree on HurK's inix.
"Greetings all, it seems to go well, Chat'cho is still alive"

"Good to see you again Ande, Chat'cho. It is a grisly thing to say though Ande. Did the kreen come back yet with any form of response or leadership?" Quila mentions as she dismounts the war crodlu, then takes the view in of all the alien-ness of the tohr-kreen settlement. She does so in a respectful manner, an interested look around.
Directing herself towards Chat'cho, she asks "What are, from your experience, good ways to present ourselves diplomatically as humanoids to the kreen? Anything I should or definitely should not do? I wouldn't want to make any obvious-in-hindsight mistakes here if I can avoid them."

Chat'cho wheels about slowly, peering at the group as they arrive. When queried, she seems to issue a little sigh as she realizes she'll have to choke on Common a bit longer.
"They see non-Kreen as lesser. They used the word '*et' to descri*e the Temm*lar, though they did note that she was *retty. They mmay treat you like animmals."

"I sadly don't speak this dialect of Kreen, so I couldn't tell you" Ande replies to Quila. "They addressed Chat'cho from the start and I have been circling while keeping an eye out for you" Ande says as she gestures towards the party.
