HurK uses his cell adjustment power to see if it's still alive [but NOT heal it]

Perhaps not heard in the storm and commotion, with eyes on the Imperial guards, Niachi asks:
“Can we get shelter from the rain and fire up that Tongues scroll?”

Chat'cho shudders as the heavy rain pounds her chitin, her feet briefly slipping on the stone she created. A long-suffering whistle escapes her mandibles.
[Tohr'Kreen] "A sleeper of some sort. My companions are more expert in these matters than I, but I shall do my best to gather what information I can."
Moving slowly and carefully so as not to slip on the rain-slick stone, she casts a Tongues spell and asks again. "How long have you been dead?"

HurK pulls out his 1/2 giant blanket from his stowed pack and wraps the winged creature up in a nice bundle then ties it up with his giant hair rope before putting on the back of 'fruit cart'

To Chat'cho: "Five of the Sun's rotations, I think."

Chat'cho whistles, hums, and clicks her mandibles, shifting her weight from one foot to the other and making the water slough off of her where it had begun to pool.
[Tohr'Kreen] "Is the moss on and in you poisonous? Is it the cause of your death?"

Quila sees a narrow azure tube(?) beyond the strange alien corpse... perhaps about 5 or 6 feet beyond the body. It is about 2 feet long, scaled, with a wide bulbous nodule on one end and a narrow opening at the other. Six dark things protrude from the bottom (or is it the top?) of the thing, reminding one of insect legs in their spacing. Quila will further investigate this device trying to ascertain also whether it's positioning would have allowed the narrow opening to be the source of the blackened hole in the chest of the strange creature were it standing upright. Using the knowledge of both her Chronicling background and her Spymaster training she will also try to identify the general purpose and function of the item, but figuring out whether it could have been the source of the demise of that creature sort of gives the most important clue she would think. Hearing in her peripheral bodily awareness talk of ancient halflings and lifeshaping sure helps in making some deductions for her. Also, did the blackened hole leave any residual organics, like ashes would remain when something is burned away or charred?
After inspecting the tubular object and her hypothesis it was involved in killing the strange creature, Quila will move on with inspecting, trying to find a central area instead of just slightly veering hallways reminding her of creatures' insides more and more. "Every intestine either ends at an issuing organ or an exit portal," she thinks to herself.
(OOC: my Chronicler kit gives me 35% chance, and the Spymaster gives a 35% chance too. I'll just roll twice and you adjudicate what applies, if any. I rolled a 57 and a 95.
Also, for PSP purposes, let me know how many times I've re-established by now for the initial cost.)

[Tohr'Kreen] "Is the moss on and in you poisonous? Is it the cause of your death?" "I do not know. The creature was the cause of my death, as it's grip latched onto my face." *** As far Quila is concerned, she's seen wands that could release concussive force similar to those wounds, and this thing could be a bizarre wand?

"J'lact, would you allow me to inspect this being in one of your domes?" he asks respectively as he points to the bat creature bundle

Chat'cho rattles her chitin, shaking some of the water off of her as she makes ready to speak.
[Tohr'Kreen] "Fear not and prepare yourself, for the dark shadow of death flees before my power. Lo, I banish it from thee, that you may speak without the aid of my magic."
The druidess weaves an arcane pattern in the air with her eight fingers, leaning down to press two of their number to the forehead of the corpse. A concussive boom marks the casting of her Raise Dead spell.

If that ⬆️ gets translated HurK's eyes widen in concern as he looks at the soon to not be dead halflings missing face. "oh shit!" he whispers He immediately drops to the deck, touches his ankle and activates his Cell Adjustment power on the mini man...

Ande sits on Fruit Cart, observing the goings-on around her. Though she isn't speaking it, her face has "Can we move this somewhere dry?" written all over it.

- Eslyk is having her eyes wide open with the portent that Chat'cho is trying to perform and, tiptoeing, she whispers to Niachi and pointing at the ritual that it's happening - "Will his face get restored? He looked quite cute with his tattoos when I saw him as he was.." - then she looks at Ande, and in regular tone of voice - "I'll help" - enthusiastic

When Ande notices the visitor rise, she will address him in Common "Good morning starchild! Athas says hello! Shall we adjourn somewhere less precipitous?"
I imagine that by now, her wimple and feathers are drenched and she appears thoroughly uncomfortable.
