Chat'cho performs her rites as the others observe the field below and Eslyk asks her question. Two more ancient halflings, Sul-vher (male) and Fen-mohr (female), are returned to the realm of the living. Confused until they are led back to the Oculus and explained of the situation. They are told to go back to their pods and rest until the time comes to reawaken. The two women you raised the day prior, Wir-agoth & Han-avios, are still safe in slumber.

The Seed and it's Voice have never heard of Liandrin. Perhaps other divinations could be attempted.

The mass of kreen below seems to be almost entirely of the larger, more war-like variety. Some of them have additional barbs on the front and back of their arms and legs. These are the ones you see rigging the tethers to the Seed, using these added hooks to climb the ship much more easily than a standard mantoid. Interesting that some are adapted to climbing.

After the druid rests, she is able to once again perform her powerful magics of rebirth.

Ther-ser (male) and Rath-moar (also male) return to the realm of the living as well. They are a tad more argumentative and form a defensive line until talked down and led to the Oculus. They are quickly pacified and told the same as the other two rhul-thaun.

This leaves three ancient, recently deceased halflings to revivify.

It is a bit afternoon. It remains cool within, if a bit cramped. Anyone with PSPs can have 20 turns worth of replenishment. If there's anything else you want to do to pass the time, feel free to speak up.

Niachi muses aloud:

"When we have raised them all, we can hunt for the remaining Strange aboard, fully cleanse this vessel. We also have the option for Wormholing back and forth and going along the the ride to the emperor's city. What advantages would that gain us?

But knowing how to enter and exit the 'normal' way, as they do is also key, yes?"

There are no more known Strange aboard the living vessel. Simply the one that carried it's fungal gift and intent to steal the life shaper's minds.

If asked about leaving the vessel, you will get the response that one is "made" when there is need. Much like the chair the puppet halfling sits on, there is some ability for the Seed to change it's form.

"PRIORITY STILL LIES IN OUR HEALTH, THE SEED. WE WERE NEVER EXPECTING TO NEED TO IMMEDIATELY REENTER THE AETHER AFTER LANDING. WE ARE TIRED; WHILE WE HAVE ENERGY RESERVES, TAPPING INTO THEM TAKES MORE OF OUR FOCUS. MY PROGENATORS MUST SLEEP UNTIL WE ARE HALE."

What are your thoughts of the Seed currently about to be transported to a major Kreen settlement, with us in it?

"THE MANTIS PEOPLE HAVE PREYED UPON OUR PROGENATOR'S FLESH FROM SINCE THE BEGINNING DAYS. WHILE WE ARE CURIOUS BY THE FEMALE (implies Chat'cho) RETURNING OUR KIN FROM ENTROPY, CAUTION WOULD BE ADVISED. SURROUNDED BY THEM WILL MAKE OUR WARDS ANXIOUS UPON AWAKENING."

Does the Seed have any defenses against unauthorized entry or attempts at cutting into it?"

"YES, BUT TO DO SO WOULD CAUSE OUR OWN REPAIRS TO SLOW. CURRENT CONCERN IS THE BARBED EVOLVED ONES THAT CLIMB OUR SHELL. CURRENTLY HOLDING DEFENSES ON STANDBY."

- "I'm aiming to learn something from the past, from my past as a Halfling as well. Could it be? Any useful knowledge, something uncommon at your time, whichever this knowledge will be" - telling to the seed with a smile then looking at Chat'cho - "What are these Kreen aiming for by climbing up? I understand we are in their land but been us a link with good intentions, their attempt could be seen as a threat. I would go myself but surely they'll believe in you more" - smiling

"What?" Chat'cho cocks her head to one side, clearly confused. "You want this one to exit and s*eak with those kreen? J'lact was clear that it would likely end one's hunt."

Ande will Ping the Seed on being told that she may ask.  She probably makes herself dangerously open to the Seed, radiating genuine admiration and curiosity. If she gets a reception, her part of the conversation goes as follows "Please allow me to introduce myself, I am Ande, a Silvaarak Aarakocra and longtime admirer of yours."

"I have read terrestrial accounts of your regular passage and though I had hoped to one day lay my eyes on you in the skies as you passed; I never in my wildest dreams thought that I would be in direct contact with you as I am now. I am a student of The Way of Psychoportation as well as an active exponent of Oronis."

"I look forward to a long and fruitful pursuit of mutual benefits with you. Know that I will endeavor to assist you in any ways that I can, should you ask it, I will do my best to provide."  

"How would you have me request an opening?"  

"Would you have me land at a specific point within you?"

Once she's done talking to the Seed, Ande would approach Chat'cho <Thri-Kreen> "We should return to Nirik-Tohr, if not all of us, someone has to take the little big one soon" Ande gestures at mini HurK as she speaks.  Afterwards, she turns to address the rest of the party "Are we all returning to Nirik-Tohr with HurK or are some of us staying here with Efurth and the Seed?"

Still watching TV on his bean bag HurKling states matter of factly "No one's coming in or going out the front door until those War-Tohr's aren't out there anymore. Wormhole or dimension door are the smartest entry and exits for now. At least until the entire crew is back on their feet. Who knows, the seed may have it's own giant sized lightning animal it can bring to bare on potential enemies." He shrugs

Niachi  crawls to observe the viewing portal which looks down on the seed from above, also noting the numbers and activity of the Tohr and their beetles. 

"Are there advantages to staying here?

If the emperor or any other notables out there decide to block teleportations, spells, or other mental powers from affecting the Seed, we will need to work around that.

What other divinations can be done on our Efreeti?"

"I agree with HurK," Quila yawns and stands up, fully rejuvenated, "Let's not bring attention to the Seed's abilities and the possibilities openings in the outside give those agents of the Empire."

Quila walks a short circuit around Erfurth still fused to an umbilical-chair-growth and then suggests, "I do, however, find the idea of some of us staying in the Seed and some others going back to Nirik-Tohr intruiging. It's maybe not very smart to divide ourselves, but it does bring us options and the best possible way to stay informed. Say we would have one telepath in each place, and also one porter, then we would be very flexible. You see, we don't know how fast the Seed will be traveling once those kreen have it in a contraption of reins and barding and start moving it. On the other hand, J'lact may be getting a visit from some imperials too, or even inform and invite them over. We wanna know both. Or not?" Quila looks questioningly around.

When no direct answer is forthcoming, she will add, "Also, I need to check-in with Akos for the daily brief. Possibly Oronis might have news as well."

"I can do a Personal Reading on Kurt'ta'all the fire elf cleric, Liandrin the noble efreetess, and Graytch. That would take me about an hour for all three of them together. We could also Speak with Dead and ask Kurt'ta'all some well-prepared and thought out questions. I could also try and use my Sight to see if I can find out where Liandrin is right now. We could also name drop all three when I talk to Akos, obviously, and see what information Kurn has on them."

Chat'cho stays quiet and keeps her distance from the halfling thing. She got more than she bargained for with this creature--her plans were only to meet and speak with the Imperial Kreen, so she is quite happy to leave the task of dealing with this creature up to the rest of the group.
