By casting this spell, the priest can determine whether or not any creature within 50ft of the caster is a parent. Creatures that have produced any number of offspring are considered parents, even if those offspring are no longer present or dead--this spell cannot be used to determine whether or not a missing child is dead or alive. The spell is blocked by solid stone at least 1 foot thick, solid metal at least 1 inch thick, solid wood at least 1 yard thick, or a thin sheet of lead.
