Chat'cho approaches the door and adds her own etching just below the original one--it says the exact same thing, duplicating the warning about the Wrath Trolls but in Trade Common. "There. Now ixh anyone else wanders down here, they won't haxhe to translate it like we did."
For the illiterate, she supplies a pictogram of an arrow pointing down and a large make-believe skeleton creature, because she doesn't know what a troll is.

"Oh. 2,848 years ago this was put in place. Given the wording on the warning, and the fact that most weaponry and skeletal remains we found so far are hundreds of years older than that, I'm inclined to believe Myron and/or Aman first played a role in cleansing Tnor'morken and later came back here, and even animated some trolls as undead, possibly even these wrath trolls?"Quila will consult the Myron volume entitled Weapons for the Warbringer and see if there is an index or contents listing that points to anything related to wrath trolls. While she is gingerly flipping the pages taking care not to wear them, she almost offhandedly asks, "Coden, you did run into Aman before right? Did you ever find out how old he or his brother are? Any information you may have forgotten about that's come bubbling back to the surface while walking around here?"

"Give me a moment to concentrate and I'll see if I can cast my remote senses to the other side of the door," says Coden a bit absent-mindedly. He looks like he's thinking about something else and can't resolve it.
(Power check 3, successful clairvoyance.) (Note that if it's dark on the other side, he sees nothing but blackness.)
"Your supposition seems plausible, Quila. But we're basically going through tiny fragments of very old history and trying to piece it back together into a picture. We need more information. Given what we've seen, some kind of undead and powerful magical guardians do seem likely."

'Muiko erupts with incredulous laughter at the sight of Chat'cho writing. [Elven: "By my breath, it can wr-], you can write?" 'Muiko transitions to Trade Common mid-sentence. Calligraphic script begins to appear on the door in blue chalk just before 'Muiko stumbles over Chat'cho's legs and appears as he falls into Chat'cho's arms. As she stops his fall rather than attacking him, 'Muiko gives her a look of pleasant surprise before continuing with the script. Once complete, he turns to Chat'cho and says "This is the script of my ancestors, it reads 'Angry Dead Beasts of This Place Inside?' like that. If I change this? **smudges script in places with thumb** It becomes a statement and like this **marks some added quick strokes** a warning." 'Muiko makes some quick fixes to his writing to return it to a question (since he's not certain of what's inside).

Chat'cho appears very confused by this whole affair, but does indeed go to catch the the toppling elf. She freezes in plate for a moment, her compound eyes briefly glazing over as the experience of touching and smelling elf flesh for the first time in her life prompts a common and vivid racial memory. She stares off into space for several long moments, her mandibles swaying in place for a time before she seems to shake off the stupor that came over her. Chat'cho looks down at the elf in her grip, pressing her four hands into the soft skin and kneading it like dough in a matter that might be a bit inappropriate. "I see why your race and mmine share anti*athy. The kik of the xhar south *rey on you, and your hide is addictixhe to the To'ksa. The ones whose antennae are long are doo mmed to slaxher oxher your carcasses xhor all ti mme." She pauses for a moment, sliding her hands over 'Muiko's belly. "You're awxhully soxht. I like touching skin."

"I see why your race and mine share antipathy. The raiding packs of the far south prey on you, and your hide is addictive to the To'ksa. The ones whose antennae are long are doomed to slaver over your carcasses for all time. You're awfully soft. I like touching skin."

Weapons for the Warbringer details general notes on constructs, golems and infers that his brother had inspiration for creating beasts of nightmare, this muse taken from what you can gather is in another one of the journals... as Myron seems to allude in a personal tone within the writings. There is also something written about a gigantic obsidian man being buried under the sands near a city to the south. From the description it may be Urik that he speaks of.
***
Coden cannot see much. There is a bit of bioluminescent moss, fungi or mold as double tall stairs wind down, down, down into the depths. The middle is a void that plunges deep within the depths of the earth.
There are no creatures to be seen, living or dead, but there is evidence of scratches, tears and markings on this side of the door, as well as protective symbols etched into the door and it's frame. A bronze flame also hangs above the portal, perhaps a sign that the fire cults had something to do with this warding.

#3: This chest contains three wax-stoppered azure glazed ceramic pots, small - the size of a large orange. They each radiate magic. There is also a small gold necklace with the head of a cat or lion that does not radiate magic, but is likely valuable. The trap Scrye finds? There's a thin dried smear on the first pot, ah, yes. She should be familiar as a bard. This is Id Fiend Essence, a poison known to work through contact.
#4: Ah. This trigger is set to release a vapor into the air, as Scrye notices a tiny tube as she works the lock. If she hadn't been careful, she would've knocked the wax from the tip. Whew. Inside? Ten polished obsidian spheres the size of a grapefruit or large pomelo that occupy most of the chest. #5: Easy lock; simple needle trap. Nothing a bit of gunk won't stop from triggering... There are two wax-stoppered azure glazed ceramic pots that detect of magic here, similar to the ones from the third chest. There are also hundreds of small matching pale blue and lime-green crystals below, filling 3/4s the chest.

#3: 30 pound chest, 3 pounds content - easily consolidated as long as you watch handling the pot with contact poison on it.
#4: 30 pound chest, each obsidian orb a half pound (5# total), but need to be transported carefully as to not chip the volcanic glass. Packed decently in the chest however.
#5: 30 pound chest, 23# content, lot of loose content

Attilius unfurls each of the heavy 4 rugs to show them to the group and try and see if they are worth anything by their construction, material and visible design.

They are thick, well constructed and of intricate design. You could see a nobleman or woman laying on these as a servant paints them in a flattering way to avoid getting beaten or killed.
10/10 would lay here again.

Attilius rolls the 4 large 45 lb. rugs back up and leans them up in the S.W. corner of the brown robes secret room. He'll also carefully place the 170 lb. heavy backscratcher and Terra cotta lioness with them. "ill carry all the chests, just make sure they're padded with cloth or somethin' inside to protect the insides. I'll grab the rest on the way out. They're too heavy and throwing me off balance."

I am sure that Coden is relaying what he is seeing, a deep, dark stairway into the dark - with a great open yawning darkness below.

What schools do the ceramic pots detect as? Can the contact poison be removed with a rag of parchment? It will be donated for safety sake, if so.
"I am more than willing to carry these small magical ones and lighten your load Attilius, just be careful with that lectern."
