Originally in 2E, 10 coins equaled a pound.
I have had some issues with this, coin size and specifically in Dark Sun, where you could feasibly melt silver down and make weaponry based on weight, etc...
For this game (and most of my others, to be honest), 20 coins per pound is the standard.
