Vast, disgusting, yet somehow still oddly beautiful chamber

Quila lets everyone have their say after her spirited monologue trying to explain to the group they have nothing to fear from her, Kurn, or 'the way things are done'. She feels as if not every nuance of what she actually meant to convey is understood by all, but maybe that is one bridge too far for now. She first replies to her tari friend.
"Skrye, we have known each other for some time, but haven't been in touch for a few years since I left Celik. Things are very different in the south, both for the tari, but also in Celik proper with how House Mareneth runs that place. I would never betray a friend, you know that. All I ask is that we can check the things we have found here with some care once we are in Kurn. Both to make sure nothing is cursed, and to help us in identifying the way the magic or psionic items are used best. I leave it to our King's wisdom which item really can't be put to use by us, but almost everyone here in this group has received some beneficial magical items from Kurn and it's King already, so there is nothing to be apprehensive about."
Quila then turns to 'Muiko, smiling without showing her teeth, and accepting the small bit of root, the offering of which she sees as an intellectual and cultural peace-offer from the older elf. "Thanks master 'Muiko for your interpretive generosity of the ways of Kurn. I have heard from this Red Moon Hunt during my years south when I was first in Celik and later in Tyr and Urik. I have witnessed and experienced my own share of templar-induced suffering then. You live and learn and continue trying to do better. But I do understand and acknowledge where you come from concerning this unlearning. I would rather you not unlearn that, but give room in your heart and mind to learn that there are other ways. For me, that gives the necessary grit and perseverance when I need to do something to uphold the beauty and peace we have. And certainly do not worry about aggrieving me, I am very slow to affront."
To Coden, Niachi, and Attillus together she concludes, "All of us will share indeed. Be it in money for our gladiator, or in knowledge and wisdom gleaned through free access to such historical relics as Coden says, because you all are free people, trusted and useful allies in our King's missives. Let us tarry no longer."
