Niachi's amorphous form waggles his fingers at the canine-headed things, directing his Spectral Hand to jab one of them from behind.

The floating hand darts in but the angle is all wrong: Attack roll natural 1.

My Blur for 5 remaining rounds: -4 to foes' first attack roll, -2 thereafter.
Vampiric Touch: Until successful touch attack.

- A bit surprised, Skrye keeps hitting the amorphous road-like creature, she doesn't give up, as she neither did in Celik, focusing in hitting once again with her daggers

Round 3:

Coden gets a clear view through the silt and the wolf headed demon's mirror image. He also clearly sees 'Muiko. There is also something odd. Above and towards the palace, in the sky, a swirling mass of ghostly apparitions swirl in a vortex of screams. Now you know where the noise was coming from... it seems quite large, hundreds of forms swirl together, with vague heads, arms and the like dip and dive to get lost in itself. It'd be quite maddening if Coden had not been warned of the Caller, which is what he assumes this is. It does not seem to have noticed him or the combat. [Rolled after power used, success for the warrior psion.] He also manages to keep from retching and spitting, although he needs to wipe his eyes as they are tearing a bit from the caustic smell.

Skrye manages to flank the frog demon quickly and shove a blade into it's side. Tarry brown-grey ichor spurts out. The tari is much more used to stinky stank and does not retch at the gad awful stench. [5 damage; +2 bonus from DM for positioning. Save made against vomit.]

The spell of slowing does not seem to effect the pair.

The grey frog headed beast gets one giant bite through Attilius' defenses. [He suffers 10 points of damage.]

Quila manages one solid hit upon the frog beast with her crimson sun staff... and then it disappears. [13 damage.] It reappears behind the party, oddly it is not facing the group.

This removes it from Attilius' focus. Instead, he needs to choose to swing at the canine-headed foe, and connects solidly with his axe. An image disappears, leaving but one demon before him.

Niachi misses, but remains confident in his tactics.

The wolf headed giant swings a claw and connects with Coden through his armor. It attempts to then pull him in, presumably to tear out his tongue. The psychic warrior turns and instead takes a chomp to his helmet. [9 total damage.]

Chat misses all of her attacks upon the wolf headed demon, but the Son of Kri-kcht sneaks a bone knife into it's calve. The strange blade glows deep purple as it draws blood. The kreen chitters excitedly in kreen.

"It never glow like that! Maybe good?"

The force of the blow is apparent, but that foe is fresh, having the pair of hits dispelling it's mirrored images.

[Niachi]

Round 4:

Niachi's indistinct shape klak-kliks his teeth together in encouragement to the Son of Kri-kcht's first blooding. He darts with lizard speed to get eyes on the teleporting amphibious wretch. Moves to keep both targets in sight.

"Amateurs."


His abnatural hand makes spidery curse signs at the beasthead vermin while guiding his ghost hand spell behind it.

Initiative 2: rolled 4, -4 for Dex, +2 for touch attack: A Spectral Fist kidney punch from behind on beasthead. On impact, (brief scent of an iron dagger held just under one's nose) 15 HP pulse from the target through a pale stream into the floating hand.

? The elf-blob seems to grow a few inches in every direction as he gains 15 phantom HP. These last for 1 hour?

Alert as she is, Quila turns her head sideways every now and then to get her flanks and behind in her peripheral vision. This makes her see the displaced frog demon quickly and turn around to attack it from behind.

Round 4:

Coden yells out what he sees as he holds an attack and his shield steadily.

The frog headed demon begins to turn around, only to be savagely smacked by Quila's staff of light.

Then Chat'cho lands an empowered hit, sending the beast back to whence it came with a loud *POP*.

'Muiko's spell does indeed get past the canine featured goliath's defenses! It pops into the form of a sygra... a 3 foot tall quadruped with brown & white spots, long yellow horns and a confused look upon it's face. A mental scream of anger is heard, as well as a string of cusses that you could all take notes from.

The Son of Kri-cht with his purple glowing dagger, the life stealing hand from Niachi and a well timed spear thrust from Coden cause this foe to similarly disappear from this plane with a loud *POP*.

Giddy laughter is heard from the Aether, Aman's voice.

"Congratulations! Good show! Good show! A reward is due, don't you think?"

A foot long black tube capped in purple wax falls in your midst, scattering silt. It rests at the tari's feet.

[Attilius]

The giant spins around for a few long seconds scanning their surroundings for any more threats. If none are found he'll sheath his axe and pick up and stow his gouge.

"Whose hurt and what WERE those things?! Mutants? Stunk worse than the Ludus's shithouse after a night of spicy erdlu!"

- Skrye picks the tube and looks it briefly around before keep it and focus in the area in front of her, just in case something else comes through - "Interesting creatures.. But I'm pleased these are gone" - looking at her party members
