"And as a show of thanks? We'll even offer to tell you what we know that you berks are generally blind to, since you definitely don't seem like locals."
The rest snicker, bounce, jibe and call agreement to his response.

The mephit shakes his head at the shadow wizard elf.
"They're a buncha leather-headed bobs, that's what. Let's go keep the 'freeties informed." He declares to his flaming hot comrades.
Killansanderthum toots his whistle thrice and the mephits roll out towards the strange floating half hemisphere in the fiery distance without a care.
The sixty-six larvae start to flop about without a leader. Might be best to start branding.

Niachi tucks the brand away to finish helping take down the multimagicked tent.
Unless anything weird happens, after the tent is secured, hespins the brand to plant the business end into the spongy inferno we stand on, till it glows orange.
He approaches a Larva, brand held to the side, stops 2 feet away.
Does it react to him or the brand?

This is where things take time. The range you have with protection is sparse, and all hands are needed on deck to secure the buggers. One hour of solid work will be needed, and a separate 10-15 minutes for the tent.

Quila will help with folding the tent, asking others to detect for hidden portals and interdimensional pockets if they can. "The brunette witch either portaled through something to somewhere else, or there is something like Ande's interdimensional pocket in this tent and we have a high risk of taking it with us through other portals. I would not want to end up like Kurt'ta'ali did."
Quila herself will use her Chronicler talents and Spymaster training to make sense of the tent as well. In addition, she will cast a Detect Evil to make sure the tent as item does not detect for that. When it's active she'll have a jolly look around at the rest of those present, why not, as she has not done that before. Knowledge is power.
(OOC: Chroniclers also have a 5% chance per level to identify the general purpose and function of ancient magical items, tomes, or texts, just as a bard. The chronicler can identify only those items with some historical significance. 40% chance given Quila's level. Also, her Spymaster background gives her Wisdom of the Drylanders: Kurnan spymasters are extensively trained about the people and customs of the Tyr / Tablelands region and have a chance of knowing almost everything. This ability works just like bardic knowledge (=Local History nwp + Furthermore, bards have a 5% chance per experience level to identify the general purpose and function of any magical item.) Another 40% chance then to make sense of it.)

The pavilion tent itself does not radiate evil. This is no huge surprise however. Most evil needs to be actively evil-ing to be detected. So unless this tent were a mimic thinking murderous thoughts, you'd have little chance of detecting such things.
That being said, the tent did have a back flap you noticed while bringing it down. No one thought to look at that further until the tent was practically disassembled.
There is no ATHASIAN historical significance to this relic either.
Also, Niachi/Alex... have you been rolling CON checks every time you cast spells to avoid touching the Shadow Black directly?

He wouldn't feel obligated to be present for the larvae exchange but would be much more interested in studying the tent (and stake to a lesser extent).
