Looking downward and speaking directly to the halfling rogue the templar posits, "So where to first? Kinnan's manor house or Azeth's emporium, tiny master"?
Golos grins as if he finds this amusing... at least for the moment.

Chitters at being called 'Master'. "Have you a suggestion? I know nothing about either. I simply like the idea of slipping into a manor."

"The manor is not too far from the promenade. While the emporium is closer, there is a good chance that if there is private business to be had that Kinnan will be found there. We need to head to the fields west and past the bird-people's aeries. Come. And tell me more of what I should be wary of."
You notice that the man is armed with a metal headed cudgel that hangs at his side. It's worn enough to make you think that Golos is not afraid to use it. A small buckler of black chitin hangs upon his left elbow.

Umbris chuckles, and chitters, and snarls and snaps. "You are rather large, tall'un. Can you sneak good? If not, you might be my eyes on the ground. Lets go scout out the buildings themselves, and ill plan on things from there." Umbris will bind himself in rags and dirt, hiding his face and mane of hair with a hood. Now, he looks like any other street urchin... hopefully. He's not the best at city folk disguises

"Sneak? Not so much," He replies as you exit the building and begin working your way through the promenade. "Kinnan knows me and will converse if I find him... assuming he is easy to find. Or wants to be found, for that matter."

It takes ten minutes or so before you view the compound's grounds, having to take a detour around masses of steaming compost and bird dung that are kept near the aeries. As the ground slopes downward, you see a tall manor house surrounded by multiple small buildings. A reddish-ochre color causes it to blend in with the mountains and dark earth it's nestled in. A smallish pond to the south end is being used a reservoir for farm irrigation, with smaller channels branching out among grape vines and low fig trees like the veins from a heart. Tanned workers abound, it seems that even with the tiny city nation's strife that the grapes need harvesting. You approach from the south along a cobbled path that then turns to gravel as you get close to the estate. The main entrances lie out of the general wind pattern, from the south ends of the tall for Athasian structures. Windows, not glass covered, but lined with triple layers of thin linen like mosquito netting cover the openings to allow air and some light within. Erdlu, crodlu and kip are contained within pens and also work plows and other farm equipment in the nearby farmland. All of the structures fly thin pennons of House Azeth colors and that of Kurn.
How do you wish to approach?

"Hope you can think of a good reason to be here. Im getting closer, and probably inside. Wander around for about an hour, staying nearby. Ill return here." The halfling slips into the shadows of the vineyard, patting his new friend on the kneecap before he winds his way through the maze of bushes, stealing a few grapes as he effortlessly and silently circles the house, slowly looking over its entirety for easy to climb areas, or maybe a window or door propped open by a servant cleaning.

"I hope the threat isn't too dire then." He pats the cudgel at his side. "All I know is to look at Kinnan with True Sight and report if anything is out of the ordinary. I'll tell him that he's needed at the Triumvate and see if that works."
Meanwhile, the halfling smiles at the flavor of the grapes. Wasps abound, as well as smaller versions of the pulp bees that occasionally savage the wastes. The vines hang on trellises of dulled brambleweed slightly taller than the halfling himself. Once closer to the estate, he sees only closed doors until he round the rear of the manor house. A cook is seen leaving from a back door with a wicker basket of scraps as he heads to a pen of kip. You assume it's slop for the livestock, but it isn't too far from the now propped door, the distance from the one area to the other being perhaps 35-40 feet.

Dart into the house, and try to find a decent pantry or closest or wardrobe or maybe table with a long cloth to hide under. City people have weird shit, rich city people have interesting shit... anything neat? Knives made of metal my half giant friend might like? Maybe a cleaver, that'd be neat...

Umbris quickly sneaks into the entrance, only to be stopped by a squinting blood covered fat dwarf that is currently thwacking kip carcasses into more manageable pieces with a large stone cleaver.
"Hey. You must be the new piss boy. Quit lolly-gaggin' and empty the chamber pots 'fore they find out yer late."
He waves you in the direction to the right...
There is another doorway directly behind him that looks to head towards the main entrance. The grounds seem big enough that it is likely a few rooms away though.

Is spotted... looks around, heads in, face still covered by rags. Instead of sneaking, he acts like he belongs here... goes through, room by room, pretending to be the chamber pot boy while he scouts the house... dumping a few piss pots in beds or chairs for a giggle when he's alone.
He'll try to learn the layout of the house and maybe palm a few small trinkets.
