The giant smiles broadly as he sees everything from his usual vantage point again.

He unhooks his weapon and readies his shield.

Quila will want to open the fold in a way that would give the group a swinging chance at the creature or to cast a spell to hit it with (to clarify: a round of action, ideally with surprise).

Hence the observation via Clairvoyance for a bit before and up to right before initiating the fold: to gauge it's speed and trajectory and to then calculate how far in front I ought to put the folding (as that takes 1 round to cast). 

She will be more safe than sorry though, and err on the side of caution. Rather a bit further out than to have the Fold open behind the speeding critter.

"Thanks for your concern for my master, but even in his current condition, given the threat against Kurn's safety and the cold blooded murder on Akos, he would agree on my use." Quila says to Skrye, "and I could definitely use your help in optimal timing for the Dimensional Folding to hit the right spot in the murderer's path."

Muiko will cast Invisibility on Attilius, himself, Quila and Skrye in preparation for the Folding.  Coden and Niachi will be visible.

He will also do his best to be ready to cast Hold Monster as soon as he gets sight of the target.

You'd think so, but your target is moving. From the first gaze on the target is the first time you'd be casting any buff, as there's a chance you'd procure the wrong medallion again.

You need 9 minutes of casting from that point, where you'd need to redetermine where to port. I'll keep the rolls made until that occurs, so there's no additional chance of aging.

If you opt to spend PSPs and retarget, then I need rolls and points spent.

Quila will refocus her point of view of Clairvoyance to follow the quarry.

(OOC: Rolled 15 on 19-20 powerscore, with a modifier for 100 miles at -6 and 10 miles at -4 I both make those. Before when mentally scouting the Buried City structures you ruled PSP spending for this to count the upkeep cost and not the establishing cost. Depending on that, it's 5 or 3 PSP per round. For a full PSP accounting until now I would have to read back and see what Quila did so far and when rejuvenation could have taken place.)

Quila sees the beast tearing up a carcass of a joz'hal, ripping it's throat and chewing through the tendons of the neck underneath finer scales. The legs twitch. The kill is fresh. A small spear or javelin of obsidian lies at it's side. The terrain is much the same as before, just less of a blur as you don't need to keep up with the giant feline-murderer's pace. It briefly stops chewing, cocks it's head and listens before slowly starting to chew once more. A closer examination shows the amulet to still be around it's neck.

Quila shares all the information with her friends.
"If we go through, we need to focus on immobilizing the murderer-slash-creature first. Hold it, then make sure it won't use any psionics. I can then read it's mind and find out what is going on. When we go through, our chances increase if me and Skrye say a collective Prayer (lvl 3) first. After it your chances increase to get a spell to stick."
