“Yes but I fear our enemy might resist magic because psions are quite resistant to such charms and will influencing things. That’s why I had suggested we both Pray to give ‘Muiko and Niachi a better chance of landing their spells. But if you feel trying to charm him betters our chances please do it my friend.”

"Friend, I am afraid that isn't how morphing forms works. It will matter not that they've taken the form of an animal, what will matter is that they're not actually that animal. As far as my experience tells me, only things that would work on them in their true form will work on them in their assumed form" Muiko says to Skrye. "May I second the suggestion that you say a prayer on our behalf? Or create that earthen whirlwind I've seen you command?"

The rift opens. You advance within what you believe is melee range - assuming that the beast-psurlon is finishing it's meal.
'Muiko begins his spell.
Quila *immediately* feels as if she's being watched.
The worm-in-kirre's clothing is crouching, tail a-wagging, in a pose similar to a cat ready to pounce.
Roll initiative. No surprise.

Round 1 Initiative: 10 (6 on the die, 6 for spell, -2 for Dex) Round 1 Intention: casting Prayer providing us with +1 on attack and damage rolls and saves, putting the Kirre-worm-whatever on a -1 to those. No save.

Round 1 inish: 4: rolled 2, 3 for spell, -1 for Dex.
Appearing at the wormhole's exit and visible, Niachi make a 'gmimme' motion with his gloved shadow hand to cast Teleport Object on the thing's amulet.
Barring shenanigans, it teleports to the ground at his feet. Prayer gives -1 to any saves the wormkirre needs.
His hands are empty and ready to grab the next round. If he can grab it this round, he does, with a gloved shadow hand, and sidesteps away from Coden and the invisible crew.
...arcs his empty hand to launch a sudden black dagger at the beast:
Attack#1: Hits AC -8 damage: 5 magical (removed Prayer bonus) costs: 14.25 PSPs
His warmup loosens his shoulders and with the carelessness of the adept, he flicks another instant blade at a choice intersection of skull and neck.
Attack #2: Rolled nat 20: damage 6 magical; rolled 2 (x2) +2 (no Prayer bonus) cost: 14.25 PSPs
Mental Daggers: School: Conjuring/Summoning Range: 50 ft. By concentrating and speaking a word, the wizard may convert his own psionic strength points (PSPs) into a dagger-shaped force and hurl it at a target within 50 feet of him. Each such use requires the expenditure of one quarter of the caster's total PSPs, so the trade off is normally of most use to those with a single wild talent. The wizard receives no penalty for either nonproficiency or distance, The dagger does 2d4 points of damage, +1 point per point of the wizard's Intelligence score over 16. Thus, if the wizard has an Intelligence score of 18, the dagger will inflict 2d4 +2 points of damage. For the purposes of hitting someone protected by a stoneskin spell, the dagger will use up one point of the stoneskin and still do damage (just as if it were a magic missile). Further, the mental daggers act as if they were +2 weapons for purposes of hitting creatures that may only be harmed by magical weapons. The dagger disappears upon impact. Up to four daggers may be formed so long as the wizard continues to fuel them each round. If he stops to cast another spell or engage in melee, the spell is lost and no more daggers can be formed.
Because of their origin, the daggers detect as being psionic rather than magical.
As long as he focuses, he can throw 2 more, 2/rnd if Hasted, 1/rnd if not. each will cost 14.25 PSPs until empty.

Niachi's first shadowy mental blade misses somehow. The creature's form shimmers as the thrown shiv simply goes through the form of the kirre. Thinking fast on his feet, he assumes that the foe is displaced and throws his second dagger just a bit to the right...
And hits.
This clues Attilius on where to strike next though as the beast pounces at Coden. While multiple strikes hit his shield or are deflected by his cold iron spear, one clawed swipe lands against his leg, tearing open a gash on Coden's left flank beneath his shield. 9 damage.
As Attilius begins his attacks and appears, the rest of the party can see round, shimmering fields of force open up about them as your own dimensional folding disappears.
Thirteen such fields if one were to count, with various strange worm-like, humanoid or animalistic things shamble through.
The murderer lands dead at his feet after his final shield bash to the back of it's neck... it slowly changes to a nightmare visage, that of a worm-headed, pseudo-humanoid.
'Muiko and Skrye both hear a strange pop and fizzle as you attempt your spells, just before the psurlon passes - your arcane commands having gone simultaneous with the goliath's blows. But that seems a moot point as of now, since you are being surrounded.
