On the walk over to the gates, it was obvious that the town may have once been 3-4x as large as it currently is. While there is one wall right now, a second outer one has been broken and scattered. The giants of the isle here seem very thorough in their destructive efforts. Kaz would be impressed. "Why they vary in size. Surely you saw some on your way to the gates?"

HurK thinks a moment then answers "What is your current collection method? If you have a massive sled that everyone can throw the rocks onto, I could then change into a mekillot and pull the sled to where you needed the rocks?"

Laakh rejoins the table. Runs Danger Sense, and to his contact:
"I requested privacy to continue on what we found with these things. is there such a place to finish this talk? What of them" he tips his mug a bit in the two womens' direction.
"...and where's our large friend? I last saw him at the weaponsmith's."
Bob, Roll Danger Sense please. PS 17.

Laahks senses no danger. Andras simply shrugs. "Those two are regulars and known to me. Uvaal? He's been my neighbor for years... and quite honestly, I like the fact I'm in public."
His brow creases in thought.
"I once had a man threaten to burn out my shop in a deal that was behind closed doors. It started out as someone I thought I could trust as well. As long as no one else walks in? I have no fear here."
The wizard pulls out a small sheet of paper and a thin charcoal stick.
"You write, correct? Simply write down what divinations you wish for tomorrow and I'll burn this sheet after I read it. Bring the items to my shop early tomorrow morning and I'll get started."
***
Meanwhile our giant friend's conversation with the Governor of Altaruk continues.
"I can have a wagon available for your use, as long as you keep within sight of the walls and towers. As far as personnel? You will need to bring that up with Tellamon on the morrow. Now, if you'll let me be, my wife is expecting me to finish a project for her this evening. I should have some time early in the afternoon tomorrow if you wish to continue to discuss such projects." Arisphistaneles gestures to the door.

HurK nods. "Goodnight governor." And goes back to the ink shop to seek out the team
If it's locked/no one home, HurK will go to Nial, and Belial and ask where the nicest inn is, then head there...

Laakh nods to Andras,
"No need for the writing."
He releases his breath, takes a big swig of wine.
"Along with the tablets, we have two large sealed obsidian urns currently in the half giant Hurk's pack. From your findings I gather that they contain entities from that Dark Lands place, captured by this Shom heavy, and that permanent protection tablet is for whatever is trapped inside. Urns are wrapped in same spider silk, but we just escaped Stone City, And we are not going back anytime soon. On the morning, can we get an Identify on the urns?"
finishing his wine, he continues:
"We may wish to sell the lot to agents of Nibenay for their rightful return, let the Shadow King rest knowing they are back in his domain.
"We may find whatever the urns imprison useful against a race of vile worm-people, Psurlons, who lair underneath South Ledopolus, shapechangers, powerful psions. We need the enchanted weapons against them. Shardivan is aware and we await his summons to drive those boneless freaks back to their hell."
"Sorry I was over cautious, Andras. It is my way. I admire your sense of self protection, it just makes me trust you more. Do you think Identify on the urns is a good plan? This could be a coup for the Alliance."
He asks the barkeep for a pitcher of water, showing coin.

"Well, are you sure the urns themselves are magical? Have you psionically seen magics or had it detected? Also... they are stolen?" His eyes widen. "I mean, personally, I have little issue with that... but crap, you brought something stolen from Nibenay himself to my door?"
He thinks for a second and turns to the barkeep.
"Uvall! Another pitcher of wine and one of water please. Buy a round for the lovers as well."
The dwarf nods and does so. And then leaves to the cellar that he got the foodstuffs for you before. The women smile and nod towards Andras in return.
Hurk is able to fit into the wine shop, he just needs to bend down under the doorframe, the ceiling is high enough for him to enter if he wants to join the conversation at this point.
Do not forget that the gythka and dagger have not been identified or history divined as of yet.

Hurk is able to fit into the wine shop, he just needs to bend down under the doorframe, the ceiling is high enough for him to enter if he wants to join the conversation at this point. the half giant nods to the group as he enters then sits next to them on the floor (unless there's a half giant stool or bench available somewhere in the room, which he'll bring over) He nods to the stranger. "Well met, I'm HurK..." turning to the group "I met the governor. Going to help him and the fort by collecting the broken rubble while we're in town in exchange for Nial and Belial crafting me a mekillot great sword..."

"Yes, and to be clear, taking them was not my idea. It was Hurk, who while impulsive, he has saved our skin time and time again. He's solid."
Hurk enters, as if on cue.
"Ah there you are!" After introductions, and more coin for Uvall for replenishments, everyone is joined, he looks to Andras:
"I truly thought you would be the best resource. If not you, our 'friends"? perhaps advanced Telepathy and Divination is what we need. I have not yet done Object Reading on them. My powers include detecting danger, my telepathy is novice. For the gythka and knife, please do Know History as your schedule allows. I have a feeling we will be here a few days."
To Hurk:
"Met the governor? Good man. I was just giving Andras here the rundown on our items. This is a safe place, my friend."

While folks are talking about weapons Mak pipes up. "I'd be interested in picking up a magic shortblade or getting some magic on my spear if we're fighting dangerous psionic worms."

To Hurk: "Met the governor? Good man. I was just giving Andras here the rundown on our items. This is a safe place, my friend." "Ah good..." turning to Andras "Yes, besides the three weapon identifications, we're trying to find out exactly who these two beings are to Nibenay himself. If we can use them to aid our upcoming battle then all the better. If not, and your... organization has no use for them, worst case scenario is I bring them back to the stone city myself."

He's able to identify one item a day. So that's three solid days of time in Altaruk at the very least. Know history, detect magic, etc. can fill his other spell slots over those three days as requested.
Clearing the rock and making the sword? Well, that's a bit more of a time sink - probably a week and a half assuming rolls are made.
Is everyone keen on spending that time here?
For each day an additional silver will be needed for barrack use, meals, etc.
We can game out the next day's conversation when you tell me what items in what order, etc, etc...

Know History on the gythka, knife, and one urn. Open to ANY magic or psionic use per Adnras, or his contacts.
Laakh hands over 18 silver for half the fee for these spells.
"Andras, these worm bastards are a problem. Dunno if we have market friends in South Ledop, but if they trade here, this governor should know too, ya?
I am in the market for anything to help me burn, slice or send them away. For Caym." Raising his mug of water.

Alex, it looks like Markus is suggesting identify on all the weapons. Is that to go with a know history on each as well?

Suggested days - Tonight Coden uses:
True Sight on the 3 weapons, tablets and 2 urns (want to see if he picks up anything we don’t know yet)
Psionic Sense and See Magic on the 2 Urns (Again want to pick up anything we don’t know yet)
ESP on the 3 weapons and 2 urns (surface or active thoughts on the weapons will let us know they’re sentient. Using it on the Urns may give us more information on the occupants within.)
Clairvoyance inside the 2 urns (seeing inside the Urns may give us more information about the occupants.)
Day 1: Andras uses Identify and Know History on the Gythka (112 silvers)
Day 2: Andras uses Identify and Know History on the Dagger (112 silvers)
Day 3: Andras uses Identify on the Datchi Club (100 silvers)
Day 4: Andras uses Identify on Urn #1 and Know History on BOTH Urns (124 silvers)
Day 5: If the day 4 Identify uncovers details about the Urn's occupant than use Identify on Urn #2 (100 silvers)
