Suggested days - Tonight Coden uses:

True Sight on the 3 weapons, tablets and 2 urns (want to see if he picks up anything we don’t know yet)

Psionic Sense and See Magic on the 2 Urns (Again want to pick up anything we don’t know yet)

ESP on the 3 weapons and 2 urns (surface or active thoughts on the weapons will let us know they’re sentient. Using it on the Urns may give us more information on the occupants within.)

Clairvoyance inside the 2 urns (seeing inside the Urns may give us more information about the occupants.)

I'm fine with doing this, but remember that using clairvoyance in a dark enclosed space will just show me darkness.

Mak shakes his head at the question, "My people don't have mind powers as several of you have demonstrated, however... I can work some magic if given some time to commune with those urns."

Assuming the urns are filled with the cremated remains of beings, Mak will cast Clues of Ash on both. [Dark Sun Lv 2 Sphere of Fire spell]

Mak will cast Telepathy on one of the urns. [Tome of Magic, 3rd lv spell] Language is not a barrier to communication using this method.

Regardless of if it works or not he'll attempt it on the second urn as well.

Then he'll cast divination to determine what the group's best course of action in placing these urns elsewhere would be. [Player's Handbook, Level 4]

[Sound of screeching tires. Hold up...

1) unless Mak doesn't need line of sight, the urns are hidden at the moment.
2) if our new friend offers his magical support, HurK would accept but only in a secure discreet location and certainly not in an open tap room
3) So if we can stipulate we get a private locked room (or back in the Gambit's hold) , HurK will carefully pull out the urns and tablets to allow spell craft on them.

[Mak's only doing this because he was asked to contribute psionically and the urns were in play in previous conversation already. Mak is happy to only use his talents in private areas and not out in the open.

I had though Bob made it clear that he was looking to fast forward several days to get these spells cast, thus my offering wasn't an immediate action in the bar but where-ever we'd be doing the magic/psionic divinations. Apologies if this wasn't clear.]

The evening continues into thoughts, planning and the like.

Everyone safely makes it to the barracks or to the boat to continue investigations... psionic, clerical or magical.

Andras is very curious to the different actions being done, but does not need to be there physically. You get the idea that he'll be eagerly listening and able to provide commentary as needed.

Closing thread. It will be easier if I keep everything in one place with the number of things being attempted.
