I finally got a decent PDF reading program downloaded onto my laptop. I was in the process of rereading the Pentad when Windows 10 dropped all support to their reader app a few months ago (or was it already a year?). I'm now restarting the Crimson Legion and then intend on rereading the Tribe of One and then the newer books (which I honestly never read through). Shouldn't take long. I ripped through the first Pentad book in like a solid afternoon. My only issue is my kids distracting at inopportune times.

I haven't read any of those since the 90's. I did get Verdant Passage for the Kindle, but haven't managed to make it beyond the first couple chapters.

I know I originally bought them and read them a few times each when they were first released. I'm more interested in the newer books, but my OCD is making me refinish the Pentad first.

I didn't like the newer books that much. I was especially disappointed in "City Under the Sand," as I was expecting a guy who wrote Conan stories to "get it" but it had several holes and the characters weren't interesting.

I absolutely LOVE the 5 Prism Pentad audio books on Amazon Audible. The narrator had a GREAT presence and annunciated everything correctly. I recommended the audio series to 2 D&D players that never knew dark sun and they absolutely loved it and became big fans! Can't recommend those audio books enough!

Started to get into the Crimson Legion again tonight. I don't know, there's something about PDF that makes me lose interest too quickly. It also might be the fact that these books have lost some of their luster now that I'm older.
I also got two new print on demand copies of The Will and the Way & The Complete Book of Gladiators. I've had more attrition over the years than I realized. Not that I don't have everything on PDF.
The only thing I interested in getting a new copy of is the Elves of Athas (my original was stolen or misplaced). It does not have a print on demand option. If I do go for a new copy, I'll need to make sure it's got the poster.

Both print on demand books were excellent for reprints. Only slightly over 20 bucks for both. No printing errors. Clean. There's a sale right now on drive thru RPG. Worth checking out if you have holes in your collection.

Did you get a replacement Elves of Athas yet?

Not yet. They don't print on demand... but I did shoot a message to my local gaming store. They tend to respond pretty quick, so I might hear from 'em today.

Only read Cinnabar Shadows, pretty good about a Pristine Tower mutant.
