Abez keeps to the north side of the estuary. It seems he's more familiar with that area than the south...
Or he just wants to keep as much distance from South Ledopolus as possible.
It's early, but already hot as a kiln. The wind is not currently that strong, so visibility is decent. You pass the giant isle to your right hand by 9 AMish.
It's about then when Druuso remarks...
"We're being tailed."
The elf who was manning the rudder points to the shore. Three giant centipede-like cilops and what looks like two riders move quickly, almost too quickly on the northern shore, keeping a pace just within eyeshot.
