Hurkette looks for anyone on the verge of death or severely wounded and begins using her power of lend health in order to stop their bleeding, close their wounds and save their lives. [Let me know how many individuals he can save] while doing so, she'll curse the name of Tsalaxa, Nisid and her skull painted face Defiler. "I saw 'em running away... Damn those Sorcerer scums!... How dare they unleash their defiling evil here!"
If Mak's rainstorm wasn't enough to put out all the fires, she'll also use his size and strength to help carry and throw silt over the fires (assuming that's what the fire brigade or volunteers are doing)
Once she's done all she can, she'll slip out of town under the ongoing chaos, turn back into his large black owl and fly back to Ledo island under cover of darkness with hos full pack and gear.
Once back he'll drop his morph power, regroup with the others and ask for a wormhole to the Cerebrum's court yard...

On popping in at Ledo: He calms anyone caught off guard, "Just me! 3 worms down. Mak and HurK mopping up." Laakh requests a status update from Abez or Yiska. If things are calm, he gives a complete rundown with Berg at war council: "There's a ...lake of water down there! None of us went too close, but I fear the big momma worm freak might be down there. Anyway the lake's the big detour for the bridgebuilding. Our uncorked ones might be having too much fun in Ledo... those things are .... not wholesome. If the coast is clear, Let's wait for my team to return here, then all wormhole to the Cerebran." "A lake? of water? Did you leave the book slave with a whole bunch of water? He's going to drink it all...."

There is little you can do for any that felt the effects of the ghostly blades. They are simply dead, looks of frozen horror on their faces.
The precipitation does not pull much from this arid air and does little to calm the fires. It does cause some more smoke as the dwarves begin grabbing bucket and urn to pass water from the small spring to the buildings that have caught. Some even throw silt and sand from bags located in the courtyards and alleys of town. Others position to break anything that may spread.
It seems like they'll get it under control. But this night will be marked on their calendars for sure... a slaughter of innocents in the night, of ghostly vengeance on the living.

You can all make it back safely to Ledo Isle.

Once safely rejoined with the others. "Unfortunate but not completely unexpected. 3 Psurlon dead. Hope it was worth the numerous dwarf lives, though it seems a great many were under the sway of the worm creatures. They might have already been beyond hope. Should I commune with the dead Psurlon? What 2 questions should I ask? It would be good if we knew their numbers and the location of their large leader."

EXACTLY AT WHAT LOCATIONS are the rest of your race on this planet? and EXACTLY What were you trying to accomplish with your construction/digging next to the lake?"

Are these questions we can all agree upon?

Mak will cast Speak with the Dead (3rd, PHB) on whichever Psurlon head Hurk chooses. He'll then quickly cast Tongues (4th, PHB) before asking the two questions selected by the group.

The rituals are incanted, the soul connects as the slurps, grunts and spit language of the worm people is translated to Mak, and Mak only. As much as Hurk would love to have specific answers, the dead almost never speak clearly... at least this one does not resist one last chance to communicate with the living.
EXACTLY AT WHAT LOCATIONS are the rest of your race on this planet?
"The land of the rising Sun beyond this world's basin of dust is where we keep close & meet in secret. The rest of us wander, searching for mind shards, ascension & rebirth."
EXACTLY What were you trying to accomplish with your construction/digging next to the lake?"
"We found it a place to lair unseen. One can also learn much from an open Gate."

"Mak, if that's all your doing, how many questions can you ask a day?
Let's get to the Cerebrum. Khuv if you would please open a wormhole?"

"I don't speak their language. This limits me to 2 questions per day. If I did speak their language I could double that. I can only speak to the recently past, once a week passes I will not be able to question their spirits."
"There may be more of them in the lake. Possibly their giant leader. In addition, the lake may contain a permanent connection to the elemental plane of water. If we need to investigate, I can grant us the power to breathe while submerged for an hour or two."

Laakh pictures the giant reservoir of water of Nibenay, of every oasis and coveted patch of water he's ever known, as roads for these infiltrators.
"And what do I tell my patron of the mad evil spirit and her only semi-evil companion running amok and WE SINCERELY HOPE are only slaughtering infected innocents? Did I understand right that they dismissed your request to hunt the son of Nibenay and his templars WHO by the way are on their way here...? Well, show the latest worm trinkets. I'm thinking of how to scry underwater."

Mak shrugs at Laakh's statement. "Say whatever you wish. We used the resources we had at hand. Sometimes plans don't work out perfectly. The death of so many dwarves is regrettable. The amount of information we gathered through the use of the undead might alone count as worth the lives of many. The undead have left this area and are returning to the southern lands they are from. Who knows how many lives we saved in the long run by thwarting the plans of the Psurlon."
