Psions starting at 5th level will be able to train non-psions the contact proficiency for free (as in no slots required), given the same time that a fighter needs to train a new recruit a weapon proficiency as per the Dark Sun rules.

Update to the rules concerning psions and "personal space". Thought I updated after the old game and the use of phase. I did provide alternate uses for Hurk to try to damage the monster, I just don't want insta-kills running around with common powers. Otherwise I'd have all the NPC assassins doing the same to you in your sleep. darksunsouthtablelands.obsidianportal.com/wikis/house-rules

Okay. I've finally figured out how I want to deal with creatures that can only be hit by magical weapons (in concert with natural attacks).
2E had a very unbalanced system for dealing with this. Monsters could hit other monsters that could be hit by magical weapons at a certain HD. This was explicitly forbidden for player character use. It always bugged me as it just felt like handwaving the problem away instead of developing a real fix.
So, here's the way I'm working it behind the scenes. If you attack at a high enough NATURAL ATTACK (such as a kreen or even just punching at a high enough level) you may damage such foes as long as your HD is proper to score a blow. If temporary damage is dealt? Like in punching? That temporary damage is ignored. But as a kreen with bites and claws? That is considered full damage.
It should balance out better this way, especially since you need to be in close combat for it to work.
This might have certain exceptions when you get into +2, +3 or needing adamantine or other odd weapon makeups to hit. I'll look into it further at that point or when I have a bit more time to muse on it.

New proficiency rule.
Weaponsmithing is now two tiered.
At one proficiency slot? It acts as crude weaponsmithing - as described in the Ranger's Handbook. Instead of wisdom, it is intelligence based.
Two slots spent gives you access to the full weaponsmithing proficiency as described in the Player's Handbook. This is discounted from 3 slots.
If this causes anyone to have open slots, you may choose a replacement skill if you wish.

Find the Path will be rewritten for my game - probably closer to the 3.5 version.
Just a head's up.

New house rule.
See Magic may detect normal invisible characters and items on a roll 10 better than needed.
It will have no chance to detect Invisibility, 10' Radius or Improved Invisibility.
