Kleys will carefully search the floor between the stairs and quartz tile for traps (77% vs. 55/65%).
Then, if nothing is found, check over the quartz "tile" and table for Traps and/or other weirdness (8% vs. 55/65%). And then examine the "tile" very closely.
I'd like someone else to follow closely behind him - as backup.

- Kem will follow Kleys with a couple of feet of distance, enough to give him space and not trip over, but close enough to protect him or jump ahead

No traps are detected.
There is no table.
Simply the rosy quartz tile sitting on the bare floor.

Huh. Detect Magic.
What else is in/around the room? Any doors?

No obvious doors.
The tile does in fact detect magic.
Alteration, moderate in strength.

"Ok, its Alteration magic. Probably a Teleport pad."
Kleys will go back and grab a rock or bone or something and mark (charcoal, chalk, paint, whatever) it several times with circle with a X in it, so that one or more of the marks is visible no matter how the item lands.
Then he'll back up to the door and gently toss the item onto the "tile".
(Roll to toss: Nat 1)

"Ok, let's ignore that for now - maybe cast a Diviniation about it later - maybe."
Back around to the other "secret" staircase, same deal. Searching the stairs carefully for Traps and also other stuff. And a Detect Magic if the 1st one ran out.
(Traps: 69% - fail...)

HurK continues to take rear security and listens and watches the staircase hall.

Retracing your steps to the north room where Kleys left some of his memories behind (and you slept in once), you reach the stairs and proceed down. At the bottom it turn left and then parallels the stairway you just descended. It dead ends. Judging by the ground you've covered, you think you're next to the room Hurk and Kleys first fell into. You're in the north most stair area, no traps detected, no magic. darksunsouthtablelands.obsidianportal.com/maps/128027

Judging by the ground you've covered, you think you're next to the room Hurk and Kleys first fell into. "Alright, let's go check my secret door now. It'll probably open up to here..."HurK leads the team to the room she fell into and the secret door she found. "Can you check for traps?" She asks

"Yes, but, hang on a sec. While we're here..."
Kleys will search the "landing" for secret doors, etc. If none is found, he'll ask the other party members to do so.
