Know age denotes what you suspected, these items date back to the time of the Cleansing. Right around 3,488 years ago for the spear and 3,552 years for the shield respectively.
And Chat'cho confirms this as a style from the earlier years of the time period, and the heraldry is in a style that is neigh near impossible to place.
Concerning the bones, the ones closest to the shield are wide, tall and thick, not of any humanoid you've ever encountered, but the effects of time might be making this why it's so hard to identify. Closest thing might be a tarek? Possibly a race cleansed from the world. The one under the spear is likely human. The last with the scroll case might be a half elven and is likely female given the shape of the femur.
Opening the scroll tube yields a small, cut sky blue gem stone, ovoid-shaped & the size of a quail egg. Two ancient, yet intact rolled papers are also inside, tied together with a faded maroon ribbon.
Secret doors are not found in the initial statue chamber, but it seems like a fine idea given that the tower was rife with such passages.

'Muiko peers over Quila's shoulder as she opens the scroll case, he says "I'll tell you what it is" and holds out a hand.
'Muiko takes the scroll, touches his third eye tattoo and with no further pretense openly casts Read Magic (Psionic Mimicry failure rolled a 20 needing 17 or less). Speaking the arcane incantation over the soft scribbling sounds, 'Muiko traces the necessary mystical patterns with crystal prism before affixing it like a monocle over his right eye.
Additionally, 'Muiko would provide any relevant information he had from his Ancient History (Time of Magic) proficiency (@bob just roll for me please)

Attilius continues/finishes with the statue rooms north wall. If no secret doors are found he'll move to the fountain room and check the North, East and South walls...

The scrolls contain the arcane workings for holding an undead creature in place (a spell of the third circle) and a spell that confuses those within a specified area (a spell of the fourth circle).
Attilius begins searching the walls... and after clearing the debris from the left of the new door you haven't taken yet, finds what he believes is the outline of a door painted the same color as the dirty wall. Pushing lightly (for a half giant), it begins to pivot open away from him. There are dusty steps leading downward as he peeks.

Chat'cho cocks her head to one side. "Why is that hidden?"

Chat'cho produces a thoroughly indignant guttural clicking noise. "I wouldn't dare hide eggs in a worthless *lace like this."

He chuckles deeply "Sumtimes that is the BEST place to hide things. No tracks in the dust..." He steps away from the hidden stairs so others may peer down them.
Using his armor and full weapon forging skills, he'll inspect the shield and spear for weight, balance and usability.

A bit small for your liking, it seems to be in exquisite condition for it's age. Upon closer examination, characters are crudely scrawled upon the back in a language you don't understand.
The spear is a beautiful lesson in less sometimes being more. The wider spear head shows that this was not generally used for throwing and more for melee... although the balance makes you believe that throwing could be attempted in a pinch. Again, a tad small for your giant sized habits and style.

- Skrye gets closer - "I could inspect the items to check if the lore of my kind ever heard of anything like this" - looking at them - "Maybe the odd language too?" - as she looks around for anything else that could be in the nearby area, metallic even if not magical

Niachi snaps out of an apparent standing meditation.
"Ah Muiko, does your Way of Sight discern anything on all items: weapon, shield, scroll ribbons, the scroll case, and gem? I have a Divination in mind. If the scrolls are safe, either of us can secure them for later research. What's happening in the statue chamber?"
Kah-rawk turns its head like an owl and peers towards that room.

Feeling that she can do little to help in the identification of these magic items, and that she cannot make use of them even once they are identified, she seeks to open the door at the eastern end of the room--NOT the secret door that Attilus found, but the clearly visible one--and attempt to discern what lies beyond.

Quila will take a second look at these items (shield, spear, even the scroll case and the sky blue gem stone), having learned what the team has had for input, and tries to come up with more from the vast troves of her memory. She will scan the line of scribbled language on the shield as well.
"For what it's worth, these items are historically important as part of the Cleansing periods. I have a duty to bring them back with us for chronicling that part of history. Now as for that broad larger skeleton it almost makes me think of a tarek but it's not. Could that be one of those trolls? Then that would make this language their language possibly and this very hard to place heraldry troll in origin maybe. Now that is some find."
(OOC: Quila's chronicler kit gives her a % chance to understand ancient/unknown languages, for a 5%/level + int score. For me that's now 56% to make some sense of that language on the shield. Furthermore, Chroniclers also have a 5% chance per level to identify the general purpose and function of ancient magical items, tomes, or texts, just as a bard. The chronicler can identify only those items with some historical significance. That's 40% chance for the items.)

The text on the rear of the shield is a dead one, that's for certain. It's a shared tongue, from some of the cleansed humanoid races deemed impure by the Warbringer. Sometimes referred to as Goblyn, it was used also by other so-called "evil" or "tainted" races to communicate. The word is b'in'nuch - used to imply one is a coward or faint of heart.
You think that this might be said while presenting the dread shield, with the aim being to strike fear into the heart's of one's enemies.
The spear is of a make that was supposedly used to kill fae creatures. The tip is of iron - said to be the weakness of the faerie tales of yore. Most stories are nonsensical and you doubt the validity of their existence or once existence.
The scroll case and gems baffle you... although 'Muiko claims to understand the paper's purpose.
Chat opens the non-hidden door to reveal a long and wide hallway that opens up to her right. A heavy, inch layer of dust coats the entire floor out of the range of her vision. No tracks are seen. It makes you wonder how it remains untouched and so thick given that travelers have been said to have gotten this far already and escaped with loot...

Chat'cho unspools her rope and throws it out in front of her, attempting to determine whether the floor is an illusion or if some other trickery is at play. If all seems normal, she'll advance down the hall slowly.
