Quila has seen a text that described a similar bracelet, one that had stones of the moon, that kept an ancient warrioress cultist of flame from perishing in battle no matter how dire the wound. It supposedly brought her back from near death more than once, but was lost in her fight against warriors of an opposing cult during one of the pre-Cleansing wars.
It radiates enchantment, healing and protection magics.

"Hmmm. This bracelet sure reminds me of a text I once read about an ancient female warrior from before the Cleansing Wars, so longer than 3500 years ago, who was a cultist of flame. A bracelet like this supposedly protected her from death. The text mentions the bracelet being lost. Didn't that amulet you wear, Niachi, also belong to an ancient cultist of flame from that time and age?"
Quila shifts her weight around on her feet, then continues, "No matter who might have the most benefit of wearing an item like that, I would like for it to be catalogued by the Tribunal since it does seem to come from the same historical sources as the amulet on loan to Niachi now. Let us continue searching this place, but even though I feel quite relaxed ever since Chat'cho chose courage in the entry room at the statue, I do think the whole tomb up to now does feel quite unlike what I expected."

Chat'cho seems to decide that she doesn't much care what the bangle does at this stage of the game and waddles on off towards the next door. Maybe there'll be a new special toy behind that one, too!

Niachi makes room for Chat as he sweeps the area.
<Kreen> "Ix just *tallic scent *y s*ells lea*e in the *undane world, each has its own signature. You sensed it *efore. Stronger scent, stronger arcana."
He holds his hand out for Chat's olfactory inspection. As long as it is not eaten, the kreen passes this final test of trust.
Hopefully by the end of this adventure, all of his companions aside from 'Miuko will pass their tests. Old habits die hard for elves.

Chat'cho seems a little confused by the simulated Kreen speech, but manages to piece it together via context clues.
"I like the smmells. I ho*e you do it again soon."

Quila said:
"Unknown. More library time would help."
He pauses his inspections and pulls out the amulet from under his armor. Compares it to the bracelet in design, color, instinct.

The designs are different, the metals too as Niachi can see as it sits on the pillow before him. It is a rather thick bracelet. That doesn't necessarily mean that they weren't owned or worn by the same warrioress or cultist, but there does seem to be a history of those sorts long ago in this region at the very least. You wonder if these were trophies or had some reason to be displayed so.

While the others stare at the bracelet on the pillow, Chat bounds across the hall to encounter another locked door.

"More library time it is. They don't exactly look the same but who knows." Quila shrugs. "Who is gonna pocket this one?"

"More library time it is. They don't exactly look the same but who knows." Quila shrugs. "Who is gonna pocket this one?" "If the bracelet protects life as you say, I'll wear it until we get back home." says Attilius. He'll walk over, tower shield raised and lift it off it's pillow with the hook on his outstretched extended trikal. Clearly not trusting the spot to be trap free. [Bob if he doesn't blow up, get poisoned, freeze, or melt away, Attilius will attempt to put the bracelet on]

Chat'cho has no interest in a locked door. She'll shrug her shoulders and stand aside, content to watch the rest of the party and do nothing for now.

The goliath needs everyone else out of the room to approach the bracelet. As he touches it with his trikal, it flies to his wrist and latches shut.
Then the floor opens up beneath him.
Attilius falls thirty feet or so and crashes into solid ground as the trapdoor begins to reset shut above him.
12 points of falling damage.
The goliath then feels the breath choke out of him. A thick, swirling vapor is making him violently ill.
Need a save vs poison every round. Death or 30 damage on a successful save.
The rest of the party sees the floor begin to shut...

'Muiko watches as Attilius falls into the gas and without a moments hesitation he reaches out with his Nexus and rearranges Attilius physical form into that of a Kes'trekel.
'Muiko beckons Attilius with a whistle.
Psionic Mimicry rolled a 15 needing a 17 or less Somatic Concealment rolled a 13 needing a 15 or less
Need a system shock and percentile from Attilius

Those rolls will not be needed as he's failing his poison save already. The goliath is now a kestrekel. The bracelet seems to still be attached about wing. It glows reddish-pink. All items in his hands are dropped.
The doors will be shut this after anyone else's reactions near the doorway - Coden, Scrye and Quila may attempt an action.
