Coden makes a quick check of the room to see where the airflow goes. You don't make a chamber full of poison gas and not have a way to vent it when it's done.

Quila will kneel in the portal and cast a Stone Shape upon the quickly closing floor panels affecting 10 ft cube of stone. She will try to make a hole large enough to get a kestrekel through and then some.

"Quick, can anyone get Attillus in bird form up? Rope or anything else like a levitation or portal?" she blurts after casting.

If we do manage to get the bird up by using some rope someone else has, she can cast a Remove Curse on the bracelet if needed to remove it from the kestrekel/Attillus and quickly stash it into a bag which she ties closed.

In the short time before the trapdoor closes, he pings his familiar: <Urgent! Can you lift the bird up with your mind!?>

His hands are ready for a spell with speed factor 4.

Coden reaches out to try to telekinetically lift Attilus from the pit, but loses his concentration and somehow makes things worse.

(Rolled a 20 on power check; this causes you to 'fumble' the target, so presumably he does something that makes this worse.)

Stone Shape works fine. A hole is created.

Coden surmises that the gas might be heavier than air. Huh. That seems silly. [DM questions if most living Athasians would know such science-y things.]

The Xerichou cannot telekinese.

And the bird is dropped. There is nothing really bad that happens as he simply does not get lifted this round.

Chat'cho wanders up, confused as to what's going on. "Hey? What are you all doing? Where's the giant? Where's the ring?"

Niachi shouts

"Get ready with an open sack and Remove Curse!

He steps up to the pit, braces his feet wide, casts Spiderstrand:

Goal is to only shoot enough web to coil around the bird a few times, then pull him up, Remove Curse, deposit him in an open sack prevent the bracelet from jumping to another target, and ending my spell so we can close the bag.

Chat'cho tries to tug up a bag and open it as per Niachi's instructions, doing her best to get into position.

So you raise the dead bird goliath. His once held weapons/shield remain on the bottom of the pit.

The bracelet easily comes off and stops glowing. It still radiates the same magics as detected before (I think that spell is still active?).

The floor is raised, does not fall. The podium has raised (as it was secured to the floor) - the pillow has not fallen either (so somehow stuck to the dais as well).

If Chat'cho is informed of what is going on, she will cast Neutralize Poison on Attilus, and then Raise Dead.

Of course she can be. This happens and Attilius loses a CON point.

Coden takes a few moments to center himself, remembers "size matters not," and reaches out again to telekinetically retrieve Attilus' weapons and shield from the pit.
