"Good work. Let's get down there. Anyone think of a tactic yet? Is it an idea to simply ask for the necklace? What about having Umbris try and pilfer it with help from me and 'Muiko for good luck and the cover of invisibility?"
Quila waits on Skrye to finish her casting, then asks her friend in earnest: "What are you on today? You are so preachy about the Lords of Rock today. What was that about us not picking up the rock? What rock did you mean we could not pick up? Sometimes you make just as much sense to me as this old halfling I know from space, the one called Erfurth. He spoke in riddles too sometimes. I wonder what he is up to these days."

- "I guess it's because I'm in my element?" - giggling - "But yes, leaving things behind is good enough. And who's that Erfurth? A halfling from space? Who's not making sense now?" - smiling then nodding in a more serious tone - "Umbris, be careful when you touch things even if you are skilled, undead matters are nasty"

The giant stows his weapon on his side and shield on his back. "I's can take a hit if shits nasty down 'dere - I'll go first. Skrye, get that undead protect-shun spell ready you put on me before the nap, just in case..." He pulls out his invisible axe and bites down on the handle then begins his climb downwards.

"Was it Y'nar who spoke of 'Myron babbling below'? I'd wager that Myron is far too alert and awake to make it that simple for Umbris even if I clouded the minds of others to his presence. I can still do so, though I doubt it will be a simple snatch and flee. Let our warriors take the lead once we're past the traps of the hall, then we should expect great resistance from a plethora of threats but remain focused on our prize-- Myron's Mask. We can hope that the morale of his followers breaks when they see him fall"

Niachi nods to the team, hops over to the table to grab the magic-detected bottle, stashes it in his pack and takes 2nd down the ropes, but not before he casts Spectral Hand to have it hover at his side, awaiting his enchantments.
He hustles down the rope, his enhanced agility actually throwing him off balance as his reflexes get adjusted to vertical movement:
CON roll for spellcasting: 5 (success)
If any Dex checks are needed: check #1, boosted by Moment: rolled 20, modified by Dex 22 and +4 for Moment.
The pale glowing hand will last for 16 rounds. Enchant Weapon: best guess 23-25 rounds left. Detect Invisible: 22-24 rounds. Cat's Grace: 7.5 hours.
Spells remaining: 2/1/2/1

The goliath goes second, using both rope and the steps that the tari has carved into the stone.
Niachi feels a tad nauseous looking into the dark. It reminded him of hazings and threats from his spiderfolk mentors. Anytime his night vision got lost in a potential drop this happened, but he feels lucky that he's enhanced his agility to near perfection as he descends.
Coden, knowing that he wasn't the most sure on his feet on the best days, strips down to under armor and takes the last spot. This adds a few minutes to his trip down, but is otherwise successful.
The rest of you descend as well, to no ill affect, stumble or pitch. It does take a few minutes to make the trip safely though. The elemental waits dutifully below as Coden begins to don his armor once more. Skrye may direct it for 2 more rounds at this point.
To your left you see the capstan and door on the north wall.
To the right, a rougher corridor that leads to sarcophagi, snakes and a golden chariot... you assume, as the door is shut on this side. It seems unlikely that those things would have gone far, if anywhere.

Attilius switches his axe for his gouge and readies his shield for whichever door the group decides.

Niachi ungloves his shadow arm and makes a fist to activate his natural Chill Touch ability, the first of eight available today. His hand radiates the faint blue of otherworldly coldness. He stands still to command a fistbump between this hand and his Spectral Hand, transferring the chill to the floating hand. He looks to the team:
"Coffins or capstan? Coffins seem the right thing but ..?"
Chill Touch: Duration: 11 rounds. When the caster completes this spell, a blue glow encompasses his hand. This energy attacks the life force of any living creature upon which the wizard makes a successful melee attack. The touched creature must roll a successful saving throw vs. spell or suffer 1d4 points of damage and lose 1 point of Strength. If the save is successful, the creature remains unharmed. Creatures not rated for Strength suffer a -1 penalty to their attack rolls for every other successful touch. Lost Strength returns at the rate of 1 point per hour. Damage must be cured magically or healed naturally. This spell has a special effect on undead creatures. Undead touched by the caster suffer no damage or Strength loss, but they must successfully save vs. spell or flee for 1d4 rounds + 1 round per level of the caster.
If a clerical caster wants to lead, he will adjust for this. Otherwise: Atillius point, then himself.

"Much as I am inclined to collect the golden chariot, I feel certain that the item of most import is behind the capstan door."

After he clambered down the walls like a spider, barely using the rope, he happily begins to start inspecting and probing for traps and triggers. Having been told by the lady where the two traps were, he ignores the magical floor trap for now to look over the wall trap, if its possible to get to it. If unable to get to the wall trap, he'll crack his knuckles.
"If anyone wants ta pop this with a dispel, that'd be great. Otherwise, ill throw on my nimble fingers to try my luck."

This door does not budge. There is no handle either. One might fathom that turning the capstan might open it.

This door does not budge. There is no handle either. One might fathom that turning the capstan might open it. Atilius attempts to turn it counter clockwise. If it doesn't budge then clockwise.

Turning it clockwise causes a grinding noise, a growl of stone on stone and the feel of resistance building.
The door lifts into the ceiling, revealing the corridor beyond.
Attilius releases the wheel to see that the door currently stays in place.
