"Acid and fire wounds... acid and fire..." Coden muses.

He has a glimmer of memory from his remarkable mind about something they'd heard, a glimpsed fragment of lore from their unusual journeys.

”We saw the troll-scorcher die. But his brother is another story. But why would he let loose the nightmare beasts against us and not against the worms?” Quila responds in a dejected voice, her attention elsewhere.

Quila will reorient her viewpoint to within 25 yards of Aman’s tower to see if she sees more detail. Otherwise she will disengage her clairvoyance.

The Tower is fallen. That much she can see. Sticky earth, defiled ground and goo permeate the immediate area. You think you're probably lucky you can't smell this as you gaze at the immense piles of toppled brick.

Still Invisible and next to Quila "Perhaps he loosed them indiscriminately to protect his tower?"

Niachi keeps his lightstone held to comfort the nearest wounded, a beacon of hope.

"Leagaris, we are here now. Did Syndic make it? Is the perimeter secure? The Library? Defiling tusked behemoths that rot your dreams, Ugh. Where are they now? Where are we needed?"

[DM Bob]

"Syndic is dead. He led the charge and was caught in a wave of life sucking force - about a third of our lancers perished. Only the flanks were spared, I led the left wing of the attack and our squad took lighter damage."

He pauses.

"Four days of fighting. Four days we brought the full brunt of our strength against those things and all the wormlings."

The trio of warriors each shudder and look a bit distant as Leagaris continues.

"Only to have the Great Maggot explode into a mass of acid and bile inexplicably earlier today. The city is in no immediate danger as far any of us know. The Tribunal held court earlier this evening and has taken emergency powers. After the Maggot passed, he took the remaining beast of nightmares on as the rest of us had no effect. Simply ignored everything we tossed at it. Tell me. Do more of these things exist?"

He vomits off to the side, wipes his face and motions for the others to follow. You assume the last question was rhetorical.

"We did what we could while we were there, do not begrudge yourself due to these events" Muiko says from immediately next to Quila "I wonder if there's a way to have brought us back in the same timeframe that we experienced? A way to undo what happened here in the dilation?"

- "The destruction of his tower was enough reason to direct them against us, where is he now? Who knows... But back to the present, I will pray for your deceased in a moment, these brave soldiers deserve recognition and, as they returned to the soil that gave them birth and sustent, it's the minimum I could offer.. In the other hand.. I could help healing some of your injured troops if needed"

Muiko will volunteer to fetch supplies from wherever he is told to go, be it Fort Protector or New Kurn.  He has two 1st level slots open and Expeditious Retreat which will give him 13 minutes of Base MV 45 (x5 for full run?).  Use one casting on each direction and Item as described in the Discord.  He will bring whatever they tell him to, all while Invisible.

He would coordinate with Quila to Mindlink ahead and let them know than a supply runner was coming.

Quila will use all remaining spell slots to help heal troops.
She will first do any triage that is needed still.

She will Mindlink for Muiko and others. 
She will also try to reach Akos.

Attilius will use his strength and considerable lifting/moving capacity wherever directed by Black Lancers/templar officers.

It is a long remaining five hours to first light. 'Muiko is able to run quite quickly while unseen, and while he finds that this helps him run, it doesn't provide any other acceleration other than his legs. It takes a bit to figure out how to mentally cope with this as he stumbles the path to and from the fortress and the makeshift hospital camp.

Attilius doesn't have much to do that helps with lifting, until someone begins ringing a ceramic bell somewhere. He notices that a body is being removed from the area the bell rang... so he figures that it would help if he lifted bodies when needed and acts accordingly.

The smaller of you help bandage, clean and nurse the swath of injured. The injuries look to be a mix of defiler sick, acid scars and dissolved limbs and high heat burns. If you had to guess, someone or something had been lobbing magical fire during the battle of the dark tower. The spoils of war are never fair and the mood is dark.

Akos does respond wearily to Quila's mental poking.
