"I have already tended to my [Elven: Esteemed Nephews] armor and with some time, I think we-" Muiko gestures in Niachi's direction "-can do the same for each of us.  I'd wager it isn't terribly hard to derive a 'Proofing Vs Corrosion' or even against attracting lightning?" Muiko looks at Attilius "I know you'd have appreciated that in the Tomb!  I am not suggesting that we tarry long, maybe a few days in the Library so we can see if we can't contribute a little more to the Kurnan cause.  It could be just as simple as swapping to appropriate material components?  What is the opposite of Acid?  What shields against lightning?" Muiko leans in close to Quila with a wide close mouthed grin "Will you ply old man Gruv for me?  Maybe he'll let me roam alone?"

The giant grunts his agreement to the now visible chatty elven sorcerer.

When queried, he thinks a moment, then pipes loudy
"Water! Water is the opposite of acid! Douse enough of it, and it ain't acid no mo'!"

- Skrye raises an eyebrow - "Acid would dilute in water, yet sure acid is an aberration to be... That may affect rocks and other materials..." - unhappy thinking about its effects

[OOC: How much she would understand about acid corroding metal or anything in that lines, been metal something from Earth, and acid a solution in a liquid, so just the opposite element Bob?

There is rudimentary knowledge of bases affecting some acids. More in alchemical terms, but possibly with crossover in the appropriate arts.

After only three short hours of sleep and before the wizards get their new spells (you can keep the rolls for the next time you attempt rest), you are awakened by the same exhausted Black Lancer, Leagaris. He shouts loudly from the top of his erdlu. Rustling you from your appropriated tent and rest he states...

"We need to get you to New Kurn quickly. Mental word has it that Akos has been found dead, but minutes ago. The Tribunal (err, what's left of it) requests your presence at once."

The two men that were with him earlier are bringing fresh mounts as he speaks. You know from experience that it will take perhaps three quarters of an hour to reach the New City's courtyard from here if you comply.

Muiko will comply with the request of the Tribunal but refuses the insult of a mount.

”You say what? I was mindlinked to Akos not long ago. What is happening….”
Quila’s face is a mixture of terror, welling tears in her eyes and a grim demeanor that means nothing good.

Quila will accept a mount but would rather Teleport ahead instead if allowed.

As the giant hustles to collect his bedding and gear "What about da Way? Can't we use dat to get dare faster like?"

"Given some time and study I could Teleport us all but that isn't possible for me currently.  Is it possible for you?" Muiko asks, looking at Quila.

[Niachi]

Niachi murmurs some Elven farewell at mention of the Brown Elf's death.

"To run apart from one's tribe is a hard path. Akos will be missed.  Sounds like the inner circle is targeted... Any details on how he died?"

If we cannot bend space, save the erdlu for someone who needs it."

He grimly packs and limbers up for a proper run. He sends his familiar up to stretch its wings and scout.

- Skrye packs her belongings - "I'm ready to go. I guess that as it was compromised by those worms in the past, or the scrying of we know who, the city has been targeted.." - in sad tone, yet hurrying pace to depart soon

"The path of the brown elf is filled with hardship but it is where elves find true strength.  Tribes are carefully cultivated and protected gardens, tribal elves grow in the rows planted by their elders.  They know little of competition being watered and cared for by their gardeners.  The Brown Elf on the other hand is cast out!  They know no shelter save what they make for their own!  They grow in the wilderness where there is competition for sun and water.  They have no gardener preventing the sygra from consuming them, they must save themselves.  It isn't always apparent when it is going on and surely isn't known to those casting the brown elf out but it is true!"  Muiko wipes his eyes and sniffs "If Akos had found here what I have found in my travels since Tyr?  I am sure that he did not feel as cast out as they intended him to."


[ToM Elven: "If you're not going to be a part of the best, you have to be the best, yes?]" Yvera says as she pokes a groggy head from the neck of Muiko's robes.  "Yes, indeed!  Let us do our best now to ensure that Akos' didn't die in vain!" Muiko pauses for a moment before realization dawns on his face "She said 'If you're not going to be part of the best, you have to be the best' an ancient saying of my people which I heard many times through my youth"

You are more than free to cast a spell of transport if you have the means and the will. You are not being detained as of the moment.

"I can only use the Way to get myself there, and possibly two other persons that are not Attillius. I could take Skrye and Coden for sure. How will you get there fast? Not everyone has elven legs."

Quila will hold hands with Skrye and Coden if they consent, and concentrates on the central square of New Kurn near the building the Tribunal convenes in and wills herself, Skrye and Coden to appear there.

Muiko waves his arms, tracing esoteric patterns in the air before him.  After a four count, the cocoon in Muiko's hand pops into aether on the wind as Attilius' form shimmers and undulates.  Muiko steps back as Attilius face and body erratically ripples and shrinks to just taller than Niachi.  As the rippling ceases, Attilius is replaced by the bulkiest and most muscular elf any of the gathered have seen.
