Why not? Coden has mostly been hobnobbing with the rich and sipping mojitos.

Andras is a tad surprised to see you all hovering about the shop, having dispensed just about every divination he could throw your way.
Seeing there's no customers currently about, he offers to grab lunch next door.
"What can I do for you today, my friends?"

Provided no one is close enough to hear, HurK leans in and says in a low tone "Laakh is under the impression it would have a positive effect to give the governor a 'wide scope security report' of the items you have scryed upon for us. I said this is YOUR town when it comes to things of this caliber and that the more people that know about these things the worse we'll all be. I'm sure you've spoken to YOUR organization already but personally that's as many people as I want knowing about these things..."

Mak will nod to Laakh, "Yes, set up a meeting with the governor. We will take the tablet to him. Hopefully our altruism in his town will earn us some goodwill we can spend. The Veiled should be consulted to see if they have a divination specialist we can work with. Obviously we'll make sure payment is offered."
The following morning Mak meditates in the light of the rising sun. He makes his way to the stone fields to direct Hurk's efforts. He bites deeply into a Gulgan Apple as he surveys the location where the water was found... just as he predicted. He marks out 30 paces then slowly walks a circle keeping the same distance, stopping occasionally to dig a small hole in the earth. In each hole he drops a single seed pulled from the apple he's chomping on. A total of 7 small holes, equidistant from each other. Standing near the center where the well is being dug, Mak begins to incant a series of spells in quick succession.
((Mak casts Plant Growth [3rd lv], increasing the crop yield 20-50% in a 1 mile square area centered on the well, followed by Age Plant [4th lv] targeting the 7 apple seed, growing them by 40 years into very large and fully mature apple trees.))
Mak walks over to one of the apple trees and places his hand upon it as if communing with the tree. ((Mak casts Ripen [1st lv], causing the tree to immediately bear fruit. Followed by Slow Rot [3rd lv], which delays the fruit from going bad for 7 weeks in addition to it's normal shelf life.))
Pulling a fresh apple off the tree, he turns to the audience of refugees, soldiers and townsfolk that have gathered to watch Hurk work. He smiles, and with a sweep of his arm toward the fruit tree, invites them to enjoy some apples.

He smiles, and with a sweep of his arm toward the fruit tree, invites them to enjoy some apples. Rizla's expression of incredulity grows as the scene unfolds. Never having had experience with Glugan Apples, he plucks one off of the tree nearest to him and takes a bite "food *crunch* comes fwom the gwound?" he asks Mak through chewing while looking around at those gathered. If anyone is attempting to hoard or gatekeep the apples (from anyone who doesn't already have one), Rizla will intervene to dissuade through intimidation at first then violence if necessary. Once he is sure that everyone is able to share in Mak's gift, he'll continue to help clear the fields as well as entertain with breaking demonstrations on suitable rocks.

[Sigh, have to put my OSHA hard hat on] The mud and dirt covered 36' tall B'rohurk bellows out from within the water pit "Mak! get these people back! We're still working here! Riz! grab that kid! He's too close to the edge and is gonna fall in!!!"

Andras assures you that Arisphistaneles is aware of the town's current status. He leaves you with warning that you are to hurry up and leave as soon as you can, given the threats you profess. While your help is appreciated, the idea of psurlons and any other worry make them want you to finish your business as soon as possible... and take those concerns elsewhere.
The apple bearing grove is regarded in the same way the finding of water is. With awe and wonder. The caravan has not left yet, although word of it leaving towards Gulg passes your ears. Over the next few days, Mak is able to show the refugees how to care over the fruit bearing trees and gives pointers on where to clear and begin reinvigorating the parched earth. Some have worked Tyr's fields before... but they request tools and direction, which the town provides. It looks like there may be a new generation of sharecroppers here in the future, currently under the garrison's direction and focus. Especially if Mak does the same rites for wheat and perhaps faro cacti.
Working with the garrison engineers you begin to put together a device for drawing water from the new well using the stones, bone and some spare materials used for the other well's maintenance.
Rizla is able to fight when he wishes, but the games are non-fatal for the most part. Capture the flag style games, some wild animal brawls and general fisticuffs. He is asked to pull punches, and even wins a bout against the goliath.
In your eighth day in town, Celik's caravan leaves. At this point Hurk has cleared a decent amount of rubble and the rudimentary wall has started to take shape.
Additional divinations and communication between the urns may be attempted. You can post after this.
You do notice that your ship is being watched on occasion, especially prior to the caravan's leaving. Nothing crazy, but the fact you had won a decent amount of coin and made your presence know seems to draw casual observation.
Hurk's blade is at least two days out from finishing at this point... but you should be able to leave soon. Abez and the elves are eager to move on.
The brother and sister remind you a few times of your promise to enact revenge after dealing with the psurlon threat when you rest for the evening.

Over the next 48-72 hours, HurK works tirelessly from before dawn into after dusk (using his light bead to see in the darkness) to complete the below: …It looks like there may be a new generation of sharecroppers here in the future, currently under the garrison's direction and focus. Especially if Mak does the same rites for wheat and perhaps faro cacti. Assuming Mak does the same for the wheat and faro cacti, using his many massive forms, HurK helps churn the soil, plow and make many long deep grooves in the earth for the various crops seeds. …Working with the garrison engineers you begin to put together a device for drawing water from the new well using the stones, bone and some spare materials used for the other well's maintenance. Again, using his considerable bulk and forms, HurK helps expedite the creation of the device by moving and holding the large holed stones in place while workers add the necessary other stones and wood for the contraption. …In your eighth day in town, Celik's caravan leaves. At this point Hurk has cleared a decent amount of rubble and the rudimentary wall has started to take shape. Hurk continues to work with the captain and soldiers to make the strongest and best defenses his size and strength will allow. ...Additional divinations and communication between the urns may be attempted. You can post after this. Using the last of his mental energies, Hurk lends his Tower of iron will to Mak in the evening communications. ...Hurk's blade is at least two days out from finishing at this point... but you should be able to leave soon. Abez and the elves are eager to move on. In the evening of the second day, HurK will visit the Dwarf to see if the blade is finished.

During his working with the captain, HurK will bring up an idea of making tens of "roped spiked log frames" then set them in the silt deep enough for ships to pass over. That way it'll cause damage to any assaulting giants and slow them down but not hamper shipping trade.

Final days:
Laakh will purchase 5 jugs of the strongest spirits for barter or possible use as firebombs, and 5 jugs of the wineshop's best wine/broy, something Abez and the elves would like. Also a bolt of cloth cut into rags.
To Andras: "It was not my intent to have The Items along with us. I am not in the habit of bringing trouble to those whose contact I value. But I hope our news of the Psurlons alert our friends to what seems a true shitshow for more than just the dwarven towns. We sail on delivery of Hurk's weapon. Nice to have a druid and a 1-man construction team around though, yeh? Safe travels."
