These are strangers to Kementiri (concerning Laahk and Victory). You've heard of a haired mul that fought with a similar weapon in Nibenay, but he was known as the Mad Monkey. Not Victory. And this guy is bald, like a proper mul.
She does know were the tent Riv (the town leader) and Korla, his wife called home.
It is the one that was trampled so mercilessly by the rampaging creature earlier... a sobbing sun-bronzed woman, verified by Kementiri as Korla, sits cradling the form of a giant half tarek.
He did not make it. It looks like his chest was completely stepped on and crushed during the beast's charge.
The wind continues it's wail. The small fire is fading to embers. Very few, if any townsfolk or gorak lizards are about.

"Laakh, please scan the towns rubble for any buried survivors!" HurK calls out while he begins sifting carefully through the largest damaged areas.
If any are found he'll use his Lend health power on them to heal their wounds.

Mak will hurry over to the trampled tent and examine the fallen half-tarek to see if his life can be saved. ((If so, Mak can cast a cure spell or even the 3rd level spell "Deaths Door" to restore him.))
Should his spirit already have departed Mak will speak to the woman. "My condolences for your loss. I am a druid of the land and we also have a priestess of the Sun in our number. If we can be of assistance in observing his passing, you have only to ask." Assuming she doesn't wish to engage in conversation, Mak will check the rest of the town for injured.

- Kementiri gets closer to Korla after Mak offers his guidance - My condolences for your loss... That was savage and none should have go through it. - Kem is not very empathic when it comes to death, as she saw it really close in her past, both far and recent, but that was for own decision, knowledgeable of the risks and not trampled like a pebble by an angered mekillot - I would like to talk with you, not now, it is not the right moment... - Kem feels sorry for Korla, as she tries to empathise with the lost of a loved one, something that still has to come to Kem's life. The red-haired woman nods to Mak and awaits for the halfling outside, by the entrance of the town's leader tent. At that moment Kem addresses him - You all fought bravely, I have to say - At that moment a small lizard shows up - Hey, you here! - Caress slightly the animal and keeps talking to - Right now this place needs rebuilt and I get the impression that it might not be place for my trade. You all fight impressively and I also have some background in fields other than the mercantile. Are any of you in need of any weapon craft or extra hand? Right now nothing binds me here to be honest

Laakh nods to the detection request, then again with hands clasped together in welcome to Kem with a short bow. Replying, so the grieving woman hears:
"Telepathy to find anything and anyone left alive. Will take some time, then we must rest..."
Life Detection from the midpoint of the town to 100 yards, 360 degrees, 30 degrees per round, 12 rounds total. PSPS -38, down to 21. Score 16, DM rolls...

The Kreen stays near the rest and helps where he can. He keeps an eye out for anyone familiar and/or known merchant houses.

Mak nods to Kementiri, "It would appear that after we leave this place we are headed to the cursed ruins to the north of here. Another strong blade would be welcome. Tell me, are you familiar with fighting against the undead?"

The only apparent casualties are the half tarek, who has been crushed for too long to attempt healing... and two crushed goraks. The fabled double tarek heart was not enough to keep this one on this side of the Grey. Laahk detects no one else hovering about the camp currently. After a second round's focus... he can count 38 goraks within range in various spots about the town/camp and outside the walls. If he holds for a third round, he'll detect a pair of human sized creatures on the outside of the walls near a half dozen of the gorak lizards. Perhaps herding or trying to reign the spooked beasts back to Samarah proper. Kem has fought mindless undead a few scattered times in the arena. Walking dead... but nothing that had much of a mind per se. She knows enough to no try cutting them with small blades, but to beat them with clubs or staves. That datchi club the half giant (Hurk) carries might be a good thing to use... or her singing sticks in a pinch. Kri-kcht doesn't see anyone or evidence of trading houses here... Balic holds most of the interests in gorak leather here. If you wait long enough, eventually some of the braver townsfolk will funnel back into town... and all the remaining will come back during the morning. Victory opens up. "I'm going to stay here and give a hand where I can. This place looks like it could use a strong arm and... quite honestly? I can't deal with being hunted. I'm going to lie low and once things cool down? Maybe then move on." The mul looks to the kreen. "Since I won't be running with the crew, it looks like I shouldn't be keeping your blades - you'll need 'em." He tosses Kri-kcht the gythka that you retrieved from Nibenay. darksunsouthtablelands.obsidianportal.com/items/a-mysterious-gythkaThat brings to mind... What to do with the Gambit?

HurK offers a warriors handshake to the pugilist "Stay safe Victory. We'll see you soon..."
Turning to the Hunter Be wary Kri, the last kreen that used that gythka had visions of flying? (He chuckles) imagine an airborne army of kreen! That would be a sight and sound to behold!"
[Doesn't the Gambit have to sail around the bend/horn to take us to the haunted ruins?]

Since the town doesn't have any immediate needs, Mak will return to the others.
"I know we were told to head to the ruin inland but we have a ship and crew to think about. How about we continue our plans to hit the ruin on the coast first. Once we're done their we can have them drop us off and they can do some mundane shipping between Ledo Island and Balic with loads of giant flint. We can always port back to Ledo when we're done laying low in the ruins. Thoughts?"

Rubbing the stubble on his chin HurK says "That works in theory but they'll have a skeleton crew to fight off pirates or worse: silt horrors. Not to mention whose going to power Lillum in the hold? We really should be having this talk WITH Cap and the siblings. I say the boat stays on the beach of the ruins so we can keep an eye on her. ORRRRRrrrr I just pick her up and place her carefully in a hidden spot behind some rocks, buildings or whatever..."

- I'll be happy to accept your offer if you all agree - Replying to Mak, only to keep silent when the conversation about a Gambit, which she's unaware of the matters -'Skeleton crew? Which kind f group is this one that asks me if I know how to fight undead? Are they looking to release an infestation of undead from that descriptive vehicle?..' - She thinks as still listening to what is going on

Bodach's silt is completely unattached to the sea proper.
But Abez would know that.
And he would suggest moving the ship to the inland silt and stay close to the rest of you at this point. He well knows he's a target as long as you are.
