Kri-kcht stays out of any discussion, just looking around. If there is any higher vantage point nearby, he will climb it. He expects truly a trap or ambush. There definitely is something odd going on here. These two 'poison dealers' are just too far away from any civilised area.

Perhaps oddly, no magic is detected.
You get a feeling that this man might actually believe himself to be a scholar of sorts. His style of language certainly belies that.
"WELL, I MUST ADMIT THAT DAY AND I HAVE NOT BEEN HONEST WITH YOU... I FEARED YOU WERE SLAVERS OR WORSE. I AM MORVEER, MASTER OF MY CRAFT."
He bows deeply.
"DAY AND I ARE HERE ON COMMISSION FROM A HOUSE IN NIBENAY. WE ARE VERY NEARLY FINISHED HERE AND WILL BEGIN OUR TRAVELS BACK TO THE SOUTH SHORTLY."
Day mumbles something as she fishes out another what looks to be cracker or biscuit and takes a bite.
Morveer. Reevrom, whatever his name was nods.
"DAY MAKES A GOOD POINT. IF YOU LEAVE US IN PEACE? PERHAPS YOU MIGHT CALL UPON US... IF YOU EVER NEED OUR SERVICES, WE HOLD OFFICE IN THE STONE CITY. ARAM THE RICE VENDOR KNOWS HOW TO FIND US. STANDARD RATES APPLY OF COURSE."
He bows once more.

Mak bows as well. "Well met then. My cohort have occasional business in the City of Stone. If you would like to procure natural resources, such as those gathered here, we may save you time and effort. Food for thought."
Mak turns and walks back to his companions. "An interesting detour to be sure."

As if on que, the giant scorpion lowers himself to allow any who disembarked to jump back on...
And then he's off again heading N.E....

Pallia lets the team negotiate and keeps an eye out for other trouble as best she can.
